We once wondered if we would ever be parents. Now I’m sitting beside that baby as he learns to drive. 🥹🤍

Five years of waiting for him. Sixteen years of watching him grow. I’ll never forget how our story began.

If you’re still waiting, your heart deserves kindness—and you deserve to feel less alone.

For the waiting rooms, the racing thoughts, and the quiet wish that it could all be a little easier. 🤍

I wrote our five-year infertility journey into the book I wish I’d had beside me—a little company through the heartache, hope, and endless waiting.

If you’re in that season, I hope these pages help you feel less alone.

“I love you.”
“Trust me.”
“This is the last payment.”

The scariest words don’t always sound scary. Sometimes, they sound like everything you’ve been longing to hear. 💔

This Halloween, I’m sharing a nightmare our family actually lived—one that began with someone pretending to love my aunt.

One little pumpkin thanks to IUI. Another grew thanks to IVF. 🎃🤍

Behind this Halloween photo were years of hoping, waiting, and wondering if moments like this would ever be ours.

To anyone still waiting for their little pumpkin: I remember that ache. You’re not alone. 🤍

I found this video from the day we learned our 11th IUI hadn’t worked. Another heartbreak. Another day wondering if we would ever become parents.

They couldn’t understand the news, but somehow, they seemed to know I needed them close. 🐾🤍

We didn’t know then that our 12th IUI would bring us our son.

That journey became 📖 You’ve Got This: An Infertility Roller Coaster Ride—a story for anyone who needs to feel less alone.

Does anyone else feel like their pets just know?

Thank you to Laurel House, @romconnedshow and #itrusted, for helping raise awareness of my book, Losing Margaret: A Romance Scam Becomes a Family Nightmare, and the families whose lives are changed by these scams.

We are the ones making frantic phone calls, searching for answers, and trying desperately to protect someone we love. Our stories deserve to be heard, too.

Thank you for helping me share ours. ❤️

The bank called because a 77-year-old woman had withdrawn $6,000 to send to her son in Boston.

Except she didn't have a son.

That was one of the first signs that something was terribly wrong.

Her niece, Katharine Tober, had financial power of attorney. But when she confronted her aunt, the response was completely out of character: “It's none of your business what I do with my money.”

The bank calls continued. So did the withdrawals.

Then one bank manager discovered something else: sexually explicit messages between Margaret and the man she believed she was in love with.

This wasn't simply someone convincing an older woman to send money. Margaret believed she was in an intimate relationship.

And her family was about to discover just how difficult it would be to intervene.

Katharine shares the extraordinary story behind her book *Losing Margaret: A Romance Scam Becomes a Family Nightmare* in my latest RomConned interview.

She was a financial expert. An accountant for more than 30 years. The person family and friends turned to for financial advice.

And she lost nearly $1 MILLION to romance scammers.

Katharine Tober, author of *Losing Margaret*, shares how her aunt became involved in a series of romance scams that nearly destroyed her family.

Intelligence doesn't make someone immune to emotional manipulation. Scammers don't need to outsmart you financially when they've already found a way into your heart.

On vacation, we told our 13-year-old daughter she was conceived through IVF. After we explained what that meant, she simply said, “Thank you.”

She couldn’t know how much those two words meant—or how many times we'd quietly given thanks for her. 🤍

Our journey to becoming parents inspired 📖 You’ve Got This: An Infertility Roller Coaster Ride. For anyone still in the waiting, you are not alone.

There was a time when I would have given anything for this pile of laundry. ❤️

Watching TTC videos brings me right back to the hoping, waiting, and heartbreak. Now I’m folding my children’s clothes, reminded that this ordinary life once felt like an impossible dream.

That journey inspired You’ve Got This: An Infertility Roller Coaster Ride—a story of hope, heartbreak, and some much-needed humour along the way.

If you’re still waiting, I hope you feel a little less alone. ❤️

Behind these smiles is a story we weren’t ready to tell for years. Five years of trying, endometriosis, miscarriages, 12 IUIs, secondary infertility, and one shot at IVF.

You’ve Got This shares our roller coaster through much of the husband’s perspective—with heartbreak, hope, and some much-needed humor. Because both partners have a story. 🤍

It fits in my bag, but the story inside once filled our whole world. 🤍

Five years of trying, treatments, heartbreak, and hope—now held in the pages of You’ve Got This: An Infertility Roller Coaster Ride.

Told largely through my husband’s eyes, it’s the story we wish we’d had when we were living it.

If you’re still waiting, quietly hurting, or trying to find the humour between the hard days, I hope these pages help you feel less alone.
