For Bay Area-based printmaker @katherinewarinner, photography plays a role throughout her process, but only ever as a starting point. Fittingly, the word “photography” comes from Greek roots meaning “light” and “drawing,” which is precisely what she is doing: drawing with light. Come see Layers of Light, Katherine’s solo exhibition of brightly layered prints on paper, which is now on view through November 8th. 🌸🌿☀️ Image 1: “Amassing Light”, 2026, Relief Monotype, 33 3/4 x 35 3/4” Image 2: “Spring Forest: Dusk”, 2026, Relief monotype, 33 x 40 3/4” by @katherinewarinner
Bay Area-based printmaker @katherinewarinner imbeds qualities such as feeling, atmosphere, and the particular quirks of nature into the surface of her prints, which are inspired by her love of landscape, design, and natural processes. Through her work, she seeks to illuminate and elevate the timeless beauty of the natural world. See Katherine’s solo exhibition, Layers of Light, now on view on the first floor gallery through November 8th, 2026. 🌸🌿☀️ Image 1: “Evening Violet”, 2026, Relief monotype, 22x22” by @katherinewarinner
Bay Area artist @katherinewarinner process moves from digital photography, to laser-cut wood templates, to multiple passes of ink on paper-as a method whose results are never fully predictable and can’t be undone once set in motion. Each of her unique prints are one-of-one, and illuminate and elevate the timeless beauty of the natural world. Come see this piece as a part of her solo exhibition, Layers of Light, now on view throughout the first floor of the gallery until November 8th. 🪾☀️🤩 Image 1: “Autumn’s Progress”, 2026, Relief Monotype, 34 x 41 1/ by @katherinewarinner
Our current solo exhibition, Layers of Light, with Bay Area-based artist @katherinewarinner, features works from her ongoing Brances series. Born from the stillness of the pandemic, Warinner’s Branches series captures a simple but profound moment: sunlight breaking through leaves into a clearing beyond. “I love the sense of the light pouring through,” she says. “The light is broken into a lot of different small patterns by the leaves that create a field of texture.” 🪾☀️🤩 See Layers of Light on the first floor gallery, now on view until Sunday, November 8th. @katherinewarinner’s solo exhibition, Layers of Light, features works from Warinner’s ongoing Branches series, which began during the isolation of the COVID pandemic, when she spent time in her backyard, noticing the recurring sensation of looking through foliage toward a lit clearing beyond it. Layers of Light is now on view until November 8th. 🧡🌿🤩 Image 1: ”Rafale d’orange 2”, 2026, Mixed media monotype, 35x35” by @katherinewarinner
