What a beautiful show to start my college work on, this sfx was for Jess in the show “Ugly Lies the Bone”. This was a burn makeup done with dragon skin (on the body suit), skin tight for the face and neck and then alcohol activated paint to add some finishing touches. This was such an awesome experience ❤️ by @kathryn_sfx

Burn practice pt1: i used a 2 part silicone mix and @skinillustratorofficial alcohol paint pallets. The silicone was clear so I put down an under painting (last pic) to give the illusion of depth of color

Hey guys! Wow has it been a hot minute since I’ve been active on here. I thought I’d come in here and explain what’s been going for the past 2 years. I’ve been involved in my schools theater program and I was lucky enough to be the makeup head for the last years. I’ve also been exploring some other creative outlets I hope to make my self a more well rounded artist. This post is just a collection of how I’ve expressed my self the past 2 years while I haven’t had the time or creative spark to reignite my love for sfx. Now that theater is over I can get back to what I truely love, gory and realistic sfx by @kathryn_sfx
