Ok so this is my last push for my 12 dips….. these lovely people were just passing when I swam or questioned why I was dressed like the abominable snowman ….. and when I explained what I was doing the donated £10 each. ❤️❤️❤️

Dip 12

ALL DONE and I found the ICE! The air Temperature was -2.5 degrees and water was 1.4 degrees!!!! Parts of my body were colder than they have ever been! I felt amazing afterwards ! I think I may just do one more swim for

Dip 10
This was a really heart warming ( body freezing) swim with a special friend who I reunited with after more than 30 years! It’s amazing when you know it’s going to be fine and you get on so well❤️❤️❤️

There was snow on the ground, it was the coldest swim so far at 3.5 degrees and I have actually found someone louder at getting in the water than me…..🤣🤣

After the tragic loss in our local news I decided to hold off on the progress of my 12 dips and sponsorship.

I am back on it now though… think the last two may be out of the Christmas period but as long as I complete the dips I don’t think it matters too much.

On Monday we met with our lovely friend for a delicious lunch. Chris at the front of the picture is undergoing treatment for Stage 4 lung cancer. We chatted and chatted before talking briefly about his illness. He will fight this battle to the core .. he is such an amazing person…. We love you Mr Hoyle!
