For nostalgia sake I submitted to The Game of Life when it was chosen by the group.

I don’t think I’ve played in some twenty years. It was fine for this one more time having forgotten so much. I did make a point to ask each player what color peg they wanted with each marriage or child prompt. Not about to fall into heteronormative tropes.

Coming to Kickstarter October 27th, Latitude is a competitive game of laying land tiles betting their size will match your bet.

On your turn, place a land type and one of your face up numbers on it. Another tile of the same land type touching it cannot have the same number. Play continues, forcing players into bad bets, sabotage or sure victory points. At game end, only the numbers correctly labeling each land size remain and score.

Having the pleasure of previewing this I can attest it is easy to play while more difficult to effectively strategize. Thanks to @radical8games for allowing me to be a part of the process and best of luck on the campaign.

Had the privilege of playing String Theory by @tessellationgamesllc
It’s coming to Kickstarter in January.

Play as radio hosts convincing others of connected conspiracy theories. Unravel your string from the bobbin along a path of obvious truths, collecting evidence to convince sheeples. Part story-telling as you weave together the connections from the moon landing to fluoride to D. B. Cooper.

Thanks to @en_klein and their wife Lisa for teaching the game and my Best-E for playing with us at @round.table.games

And the foil hats are in the rules 👏🏼

The Lord of the Rings: The Kings Gambit has just over a week left on Kickstarter as I post this.

My family enjoyed looking at the content at Gen Con. It looks sprawling and involved, but the game play is straightforward. Action cards to plan turns, objective cards to gain rewards, dice rolling for battle, bag pulling for Frodo’s will, nothing feels complicated. Just options.

1 vs 1 teams or solo, this game of epic proportions certainly is grand. See the Kickstarter for Limited Edition vs the Mithril Edition content.

I had the absolute pleasure playing a preview copy of Excursions by @kinsonkeygames at @round.table.games with Ian, @en_klein their lovely wife, Lisa and my Best-E.

This game sings with simultaneous action 🙌🏼 The active player choses (with a bonus just for them) while everyone follows or plays an adjacent action if previously unlocked. I kept saying how snappy it all felt. Never a bad turn, with the bonus multiplier and ship advancement rotating at the end of each turn.

This game is LIVE on Kickstarter as this posts. Please see for yourself the beautiful production and approachable fun.

Thanks to Kinson Key Games for lending me this promotional copy.

My first game of Horror on the Orient Express: The Board Game. From being backer number 20 in April of 2024 to the table in September 2026.

By the end of our several hour play I almost knew what I was doing 😅 Then we got to play the game of putting it all away 👏🏼

(GIFTED) First play of Crumb Snatchers by @ashyfeetdotcom

Don’t think anything you have is safe in this quick card game. Draw a card, play a card in hopes to end up with what the score card needs by the end of the third tick. Lots of swapping and stealing, so be sure to have the right mindset. 🍪

Big thanks to Moe, meeting them at Gen Con and gifting my family this copy.

(GIFTED) Balancing birds game called The Bird from @adamsapplegames

Take turns being the handler and move in position as seen on a card while a new bird is placed. As a team try to score up to an amount of birds without dropping any, failing up to three times before the game is over.

Cute, quick fun, I’m thankful my family was gifted this copy when we met at their booth at Gen Con 🫶🏼
