#30secondbookreview Check on Your Happy Friends by Kathryn Mae Inman To everyone on the outside, Dani seems to have it all together. She’s beautiful, happy, and great at her job. But on the inside, things are very different. This book is about a very difficult topic- self-harm and the decision to end one’s life. The author does an incredible job of getting in the mind of someone who is so hopeless and hurting so bad that they can’t imagine continuing to live. At the same time, though, this book is about hope - the hope that comes from the love of others and the restoring love of Jesus Christ. It isn’t a preachy book, but the reader will be left with no doubt that Jesus changes lives, and no one is beyond his reach, no matter how far gone they think they are. A truly beautiful novel written with a great deal of care, this book is a reminder we all are hurting - even those of us who seen the happiest. PS - Kathryn, you had me at Pizza My Heart!!! ❤️ by @kathrynminman

Some seasons in life are hard. Really, really hard. But we keep going, we keep trying, and we keep trusting in the One who reigns over all. No matter the suffering, God is still good. I hope you’re enjoying your Sunday. Peace and love to you ❤️ #bayarea #godisgood #keepgoing #christianwriters by @kathrynminman
Me: “It’s been a rough week, there’s not a single cloud in the sky, and it’s SO hot here. Ugh.” My husband: “Wanna go to the city?” Me approximately 30 seconds later 😂: “YES.” In less than two hours (and 25 degrees cooler!) we found ourselves in San Fran having a wonderful time. We usually head to the mountains or the beach, but I’m so glad we came to the city. Sometimes a little getaway is all it takes to reset. Also I slept 7 hours last night. Yeah! 🙌🏼Thank you, Jesus. Forever grateful for Clooney and his fabulous ideas. I love my husband. ❤️ #sanfrancisco #christianwriters #husband #jesussaves by @kathrynminman
I was the youngest of five kids with two big brothers, and two older sisters. I was never bored, never lonely, and there was always an adventure waiting. What a gift that was! Special shoutout to my sister Martha who still keeps me on my toes, and never lets me give up. I wouldn’t be who I am without her. Thank you, Jesus! #sisters #girlpower #funnyconversations by @kathrynminman
Through the ups and downs, the twists and turns, the nose dives, the victories, and all the curveballs life throws our way, our love remains the same. I’m so grateful for my husband. Love you, Clooney. #saturdayvibes #adventures #happilymarried by @kathrynminman
