Do you see some similarities between some of the sky photos and the colours I got on the pottery I just have barrelled fired. A few of the last images from a Raku workshop with Michael Sheba, Canada’s top Raku Artist. One had some sprayed on ferric chloride, some refired kiln sagar ( redirecting barrel), experimental Naked Raku and Obvara. by @kathy_40321

First post since returning from Seoul and it is an update. Over the past two years @hillpotters has been active in a refresh rebranding. We have been visible to our community for 50 years and wanted a modern interpretation of ceramics. First proposed by @blackjetinc “Ceramics are Sexy” was launched. Accepted by our guild and actively promoted the past summer. See our video , see our article in @chatelainemag written by @sarahebauly . See our article in Toronto Star written by Samantha Fink, hear our interview from @cbcradio by Host Farrah Merali for the Here and Now. I was so excited to have been asked to represent our guild . Ceramics are sexy. Come see our work at our sales.link with @hillpotters for more. by @kathy_40321

Also wanted to put another shout out to @aloma.ca . This is another great Queen Street East store. Vintage finds, new artists showcased. This store is right beside @maudeandarte . Both shops are run by women. Both shops are gorgeous. What a wonderful neighbourhood . Stop for food and drinks as well. Well worth the visit ! by @kathy_40321
