A different St Patrick's Day today for me. At 3pm while my home town prepared for it's annual parade, I was singing for some wonderful people in the winter of their lives at a local care home. A humbling experience indeed. I also got to perform an Irish themed song I wrote for my late father "Tale of a great man" which seemed appropriate for the day that was in it. Happy St Patrick's Day!

Heartbreaking to hear of the passing of Jim Carway, a great supporter of my music and more importantly a lovely friend. He would always get in touch when he was coming to Ireland to see if I was free for a cuppa. My heartfelt sympathy to Maureen, and all his family. RIP Mr DJ you will be missed. by @kathycrinion

I decided to start a new Christmas tradition in our home this year, the eldest person in the house on Christmas eve should read "The night before Christmas" this year that person was my mother Sheila. Not a dry eye in the place.
