Our Mim's Retirement Haven, a very special place for Thoroughbred mares to live out their days. Yesterday was their Open House, you can also visit by appointment. It's very uplifting to see the work they do.

Visited a historic property here in Lexington yesterday that was hosting a very nice art show... history and art on a beautiful day... Win Win Win☺️🙌❤️

Swipe to appreciate the workmanship that it took to create a homestead back then.

Waveland is a former plantation property founded by a great nephew of Daniel Boone. It was completed in 1848 and became known for breeding trotters.

Raven Run Nature Sanctuary...early 19th century homestead remains, cemetery and some flowers. Definitely planning a return trip in the fall...10 miles of trails and views of the Kentucky River on a 750 acre preserve... that's a big playground☺️
