Apparently this is a Chinese money plant. It was a gift from my friend Cheryn earlier this year and it seems to be flourishing. Thanks for this baby, Cheryn! I must stop propagating or taking in more plants before my place looks like a jungle!

I created this statement pendant / necklace for a friend. So many of us love to sparkle! A piece like this is also a conversation starter.

She loved the dark green leather cord.
To soften leather for a pendant or its cord, use a small drop of leather conditioner or natural oil like coconut or jojoba oil, gently massage the material with your fingers, and flex or roll the leather to loosen the fibers.

I am an animal lover and normally would not use leather. But this spool of leather cord I happened across was very old; hiding in a large dusty pile of other cording. I decided that if I purchased it, it wouldn't be harming an animal alive today; that it should be used and admired rather than discarded or forgotten. In other words, I would rather use it and honour the animal rather than it being hidden or discarded by someone else.

I am always mindful of the environment and sourcing.

I assembled this simple gold themed purse charm that is 2.5" long. Weighs almost nothing, and I think its so cute.

I think keys are a great metaphor for hopes, dreams and possibilities.

Check out my friend Annie Longhi and her CRAZY FLUFFIES creations! She is a talented illustrator turned wool felting artist! These characters are all original from her mind (not AI) and she can also do special orders.

You can find her on Etsy but I think (not sure) that the search words are CRAZYFLUFFIES without a space between the words.

Trying something new with a metallic chisel tip permanent marker. I made the hooks marquis style ( copper) but can be made to any length, with any symbol or with any colour background.

I'm a Capricorn with a Capricorn Ascendant, 1st house. There's a stellium in that 1st house with Saturn, Sun & Mercury in there, so this Greater Malefic figures large in my life! by @kathytsays

Bear Paw Symbolism

Google says:

In Indigenous and Native American cultures, the bear paw symbol represents physical strength, inner power, leadership, and a sacred connection to the animal spirit. It is widely viewed as a protective talisman, a sign of healing, and a guide for facing life's hardships with courage and resilience.

Core Spiritual Meanings

Strength and Courage: The bear is a fierce warrior in tribal lore, and its paw print channels that raw tenacity.

Healing and Recovery: Bears are traditionally believed to possess self-healing skills, making the paw a symbol of wellness and recovery.

Guidance and Protection: The symbol acts as a guardian mark, invoking the spirit of the bear to watch over the wearer or home.

Spiritual Bridge: In several eastern and northern nations, the bear links the physical world to the spiritual realm.

Cultural Variations

Sign of Leadership: Tribes often associate the bear with authority, protection of the clan, and community leadership.

Connection to Earth: Because bears hibernate, their tracks also symbolize introspection, quiet wisdom, and cycles of renewal.

On a personal note, my Ojibway Godfather, may he rest, was a super talented woodworker / carpenter. I remember Joe as being the kindest and most caring person I had ever met. He was like a protector to me. He was located in the Penetanguishine area of Ontario and I have tried to locate his family but with no success. I still feel connected to Joe and his thoughtful philosophies.
