I graduated college 5 years ago and never, ever thought law school was even an option for me. I honestly thought I would end up in healthcare, but God had other plans. 🥹

When I started this process, it was so easy to compare myself to others and get discouraged because, by 27, I thought my life would look different. But the reality is, 27 is YOUNG. We’ve allowed social media to convince us otherwise.

There are people in my cohort who are in their 40s, 50s, and even 60s starting law school. They’re a constant reminder that it is NEVER too late to start something new. And honestly, the idea that we have to choose one career and do that one thing for the rest of our lives? Not it!!

Listen, I’m going to be a lawyer, but there is still SO much I want to do outside of that. Don’t limit God. Dream big, put in the work, and quiet the noise.

In 3–4 years, I can either be a lawyer or still be wondering what would’ve happened if I had gone for it.

The time is going to pass regardless. 🤍

We had such a good time! 🥹 @karolg is soo beautiful!!! And I’m so thankful to be part of a program that’s founded by her. Through them I have met many amazing people and learned many great skills and lessons that I will carry into my career. @concorafoundation @latinojustice

1L is really hard! But I’m trying to find moments like these where I can disconnect. Best believe I was reading as soon as I woke up the next day 😂

Chapter 27 has commenced, and I am so thankful to the Lord for allowing me another year of life and the opportunity to celebrate it surrounded by people I hold so dearly.

I’m so excited for this chapter because, for the first time in a long time, I feel full. I can truly see God’s goodness in every area of my life, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude. Thank you to everyone who took the time to send me birthday wishes and make me feel so loved.

My prayer for this year is simply to continue blossoming and growing in His presence. 🌷💛

2 weeks in and I can definitely say that this is going to be one of the hardest things I probably do buttttt in the middle of my stress I remember the girl that was praying for this very moment!!

I get to study the law and that’s both an answered prayer and a privilege, so yes I will cry, but in the name of Jesus I will get through it! And so will you! 💛

Organization is key for me during this season 😅 I’ll share later on what exactly works for me, but l first want to give it a trial run. My goal is to have my reading done 2-3 days before class, so I have time to review/study my notes.
