All my life I have prayed for the love you offer. Your love is gentle, kind, joyful, peaceful, patient and good. It had to be you. God designed you in the most loving way possible to make up for all the things I lack. Be able to do life with you will always bring the best excitement I’ve ever experienced by far.
Colton, all along you have always been right there. I have prayed for the person you are my entire life. A love like yours is truly the greatest gift of my life. You are my fruit.

Yesterday the world got a little less brighter. My Geegee went to see our Jesus and I just can’t imagine the sight to be seen. You helped raised me and you gave me a childhood I can always look back on and see you. Your serving heart and internal strength will always be something that keeps me pushing even when it may start to seem impossible. The love you showed others, even when they didn’t deserve it, still has me admiring your heart. You showed others that because you knew people did deserve to feel loved by Jesus through you. I can’t wait to follow in your inspiring footsteps and get my hands and feet into the salon where you spent most of your time.

My worldly feelings are sadness, jealousy, emptiness. Then I am reminded of just how miraculously healed my geegee is right now. How she is sitting at the feet of our Lord and savior and she is seeing all the faces she has missed so much. Her son, brothers, sisters, her mommy, her daddy, and so many other loved ones.

To know you are healed and walking those streets of gold brings me an indescribable feeling. A sense of relief and joy. A peace covering my mind and heart. Missing your sweet laugh and voice will never go away. Missing your home cooked meals, especially biscuits and gravy will never go away. Missing Thanksgiving meal and Christmas presents with you will never go away. Missing the quick visits, sitting and hugging will never go away. Missing you and the things we were all surrounded by for our whole lives will never go away. Fortunately, you are dancing and rejoicing in heaven with no pain and suffering and I’m ok with missing these things down here knowing that exactly what you’re doing.
