Weird to think this was 2 years ago…

Dance and musical theatre will always be a huge part of my life. Choosing to shift my focus towards aerial, hand balancing, contortion and circus was scary — especially after spending so many years chasing that dream.

As much as I loved it, the constant comparison, self-criticism and pressure really affected my confidence and self-worth. However I’ll forever be grateful for the training, friendships, resilience and lessons it gave me 🫶
For now, I’m loving this little detour into circus and everything that comes with it. ✨

Who knows, maybe I’ll go back one day. But it’s also okay if I decide that chapter has come to an end and choose to take a new route instead. 😌

Long story short… here’s a throwback of me doing something other than being upside down or bent in half :)

Day when I feel like I’m hanging on by a thread, I choose to hang on to a silk instead :)
