Flea ~ in Honour of is new album Honora

Very inspired by this album!! I drew this while I was in anticipation for the new album.

The paper in the sketchbook wasn’t big enough 🤯

This one’s a little different, Such a fun collaboration project

i brought katie into the design process — giving her space to be hands-on with the creative direction and planning of this piece.

a little glimpse into what’s possible when you step into the process yourself… something i’m slowly building more of behind the scenes.

more soon 💜

Not very often I sketch with markers anymore but had fun with this one. Lil 40 min study. Was feeling very inspired after listening for the first time to the song I miss you - Dobie rub part one by Bjork I had to draw the cover.

This painting ended up taking 6 hours start to finish.

It was a bit of a mixed media experiment

I wanted to see how it would turn out adding oils on top of acrylic and adding oil pastel on top of oil paint.

I seems to be drying well as it’s been about 2 weeks. My plan is to seal it with a few layers of fixative then eventually varnish with a gloss finish.

If anyone has any advice adding oil pastel to an oil painting please let me know!
