in a short couple of weeks, i have the privilege of heading back to the forest! i’m so expectant and confident in the Lords kindness and guidance that is coming this summer, and excited for all the joy and laughter it’ll bring. if you want to write me a letter, or send me nerds gummy clusters, or literally any form of caffeine, i would love to hear from you and send you something back! with that being said, i would also appreciate your prayers. for softened hearts and endurance for this summer as we share the Gospel! the Father is so gracious for letting me experience something so special, and i hold camp so deeply in my heart. i can’t wait to play and frolic and do Kingdom work with my best friends every day! how i’ve missed it so!let’s do this, summer 3!! ⛺️🌈💛 by @katie_barr

as i reflect back on this summer i think of so many words. however, one word has stuck out to me during this time of thinking, and that word is abundance. there was an abundance of EVERYTHING this summer!! laughter on our best days and tears on our not so good days. taking a nap somewhere i probably wasn’t supposed to be (sorry mk 😆) watching a camper’s eyes light up as they finally understand the picture of the gospel. trying not to laugh too loud whenever campers were sleeping as we were debriefing our funny moments of the day late at night. moments of “i don’t know if i can do this anymore” and someone picking you up and immediately praying for you. sabbaths when the only thing i wanted to do was sleep, but getting a facetime call across the camp from cabin 6 saying, “can we go to sonic?” many, many times of “i call the dirty side!” in dish pit. laughing so hard you pee your pants. looking at the people you’ve spent all summer with, thinking “i don’t know how i could love anyone more than i love these people” and you realize, you love God in that way, and He gave you these people, so you get to rejoice in that. Jesus has moved in such abundance this summer. i have all the words, yet not enough. every single person i’ve crossed paths with this summer has impacted me so profoundly that it’s hard to find the words to say to express my gratitude to the Lord. but He sees me, and He knows. until we meet again, LFR! i love you bunches and so much more!! by @katie_barr
