Could Katie be our new Miss England & represent the country at the next @missworld in Tanzania ?

With completely different judges at @athenaleicester on 17th November, anyone of our finalists could win the crown 👑

Last week I helped out at East Riding College Freshers Fair for @hey_fashionweek

Talking all things creative, whether that be, music, modelling, photography, performing arts, media, beauty, business owners, etc.

I believe it’s very important to show the younger generation in Yorkshire and around the world that there are opportunities and other people who have the same passion as you.

Anything is a possibility if you keep going 🙌🏼

There is still time to donate to my just giving page- create arts, who do free empowering performing workshops for mental health and people struggling financially, emotionally and/or physically.

I completed a personal walk of a half marathon, speed walking for a continuous 4 hours to raise awareness to the cause.

I chose this charity because I have always loved performing from a young age, but I know it’s expensive and not everyone has the courage to give it a chance. It definitely helped with my confidence and determination to make this my career.

However, due to it being a very competitive industry to get into, I have had to learn resilience and dedication. Taking constructive criticism from others, rather than feeling jealousy, when we all have a different path we take.

Sometimes the opportunities I’ve missed out on have led me to something even better…

Here’s my tutorial for my ethical outfit design challenge 🌳🌎

I reworked preloved scrubs (they were used as a costume for a short film I was in) and cut into a wearable fashion forward halter neck top and pants set.

I then added a preloved belt and will be wearing passed through the generations silver stilettos and a preloved jacket.

I haven’t shown the final look in this video because I want it to be a surprise and for it all to come together on stage, but the inspiration is scrubs to disco.

It will look like a 70’s disco style Halterneck jumpsuit, that the iconic legend Cher would hopefully approve.

Her outfits were more glitzy, however I wanted it to be 100% ethical, so the high fashion, showgirl, 1970’s chic style is the centre piece 🕺🪩

Once I hit the stage, I will be wearing the jacket but then will whip it off like Cher did on the Cher show in the 70’s 🙌🏼 by @katie_dulson
