Our last day before our stop in Germany. We’ve seen so many incredible things in each country and we’ve had some bad experiences too.. but all in all one of my favourite people that I met in Jamaica said to me “we are all people, we are all the same, some hearts are bad and some are good, it doesn’t matter what skin colour we have, people are people” and then we got to America and an Uber driver made it clear to us that he was a supporter of Trump and agreed with everything Trump does and says. I obviously spoke out and voiced my opinions and completely disagreed with what he said and obviously gave him a bad rating... it’s so sad that there’s still so many ignorant people in the world and when I told him we were coming to Cuba his answer was “I thought Trump had closed that off again” basically saying we couldn’t come here. Since being here though we’ve learnt that Trump has closed off the cruise ports to Cuba and again this has such an impact on their economy. I am extremely grateful for the life that I do have and even more grateful that I was taught to treat EVERYONE the same and always have respect for others. 🇯🇲 🇺🇸 🇧🇸 🇨🇺 -
