🐝💛 Rain or shine, our hive got a little sweeter! 💛🐝
6 new members, 6 new sisters, and so many memories ahead! Getting to be Bid Day Chair and help bring this day to life has been such a special experience. I truly couldn’t have done it without all of the girls who helped make it happen. I’m so grateful for every single person who put in time, energy, and love to make this day so special. 🫶🏻

What a week! Over 700 miles, 11+ hours in the car, a few early mornings, and some late nights and wouldn’t have wanted anything less. So thankful I got to celebrate two of my favorite girls on their 20th and 21st birthdays. Thanks for letting me be part of your special days, meet your people, and make so many fun memories. 2025-26 school year recap
I made it! Two semesters down and only THREE more until student teaching! How is that even real?! Moving into UNI was honestly one of the scariest yet most rewarding things I’ve ever done. Some days felt long, hard, and overwhelming, but that was worth it for the days that were full of laughter, fun, and the occasional side quest. I couldn’t have done it without all my girls. Shout out to the girls who walked into my life this year and the ones who’ve been by my side all along. Love you all! Special shout-out to Carlie, thanks for putting up with me and being the best roommate!
It all started fast with new faces, unforgettable first-week memories, and finally meeting people I’d only known online. I became fast friends with people in my classes and bonded over academic trauma. I even got to see some old friends again!
Joining ADPi was something I never saw myself doing, but Lizzie showed me an opportunity I didn’t even know I needed. The second I met Lily, Meggan, and everyone at the house, I just knew I was going to love it. Getting my big (Lizzie 🫶), stepping out of my dorm-room comfort zone, and finding a sisterhood that pushes me to grow has been the biggest blessing.
There were WAY too many calls home to my mom about random things (sorry, Mom) and definitely too many trips home… but every single one had a reason. Trips home were full of random side quests or just showing up for the people I love.
Here’s to growth, friendships, sisterhood, and making Cedar Falls feel like home. Year one, you changed me in the best way. 💜 taken in Cedar Falls, Iowa by @katiematie21
