The End Of An Era

4 Years
6 Pageants
1 Title
3 First Runner-Up Placements

The other night officially marked the end of my teen years in pageantry. To say this journey has changed my life and shaped who I am would be an understatement.

Through pageantry, I have grown more confident in myself, learned the importance of service, met some of the most incredible people, and had opportunities I never could have imagined. Every sash, every stage, every lesson, and every friendship has played a part in making me the person I am today.

Mom and Dad, thank you for making this journey possible. Thank you for driving me to appearances, supporting me through every high and every low, and doing everything you could to help me chase my dreams. I am forever grateful for you both.

To @kimbersqueens_, @kimber.moffett, @addie.kimbersqueens, and @elaina.kimbersqueens, there is no other team I would have wanted by my side this year. From day one, it was clear how much you care about your girls, and I am so thankful for all of the guidance, support, and memories you have given me.

To everyone who has supported me, sent encouragement, attended events, or cheered me on from afar, thank you. Having such an amazing community behind me has been one of the greatest blessings of this journey.

For now, I’m excited to take some time to focus on school, but this isn’t goodbye to pageantry, it’s simply a pause. I’m not sure when I’ll return, but I know I’m not ready to close this chapter forever. by @katiemaynor

You Didn’t Think I Was Done Yet, Did You?

I am so excited to announce that I will be representing Rocket City at Miss Alabama Teen USA! This title is especially meaningful to me because not only was Huntsville the first place in Alabama I ever visited, but as an aerospace engineering student, my dream is to work at NASA one day.
