Culture doesn’t just happen, it’s shaped.

This is when we position ourselves in intercession.
For holiness to rise.
For creativity to return to its Creator.
For identity to be rooted in more than influence.
For Jesus to be honored in the room.

The VMAs are a cultural moment, and we value intercession over infatuation.
Let’s steward this moment in prayer.

Ephesians 5:13-14
“But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Revival is coming in the arts and entertainment industry with Signs, wonders and miracles. The Lord is doing a new thing, we perceive it, the millions of prayers over generations are coming to fruition. During Azusa st and Aimee’s time the Lord came and moved. It’s time for a fresh outpouring!

The classroom moved, and I think a lot of us missed the announcement.

If the Church cares about formation, we have to pay attention to where formation is already happening. That doesn’t mean panicking, condemning creators, or trying to copy whatever is popular. It means understanding the moment we’re living in and taking seriously what we’ve been called to create within it.

God is doing something miraculous in this season of life. Our family is on this wild adventure that requires faith, demands unity, and invites us into joy.

I want my kids to know that if God gives them a dream or an assignment, steward it, run after it, conquer it, OBEY GOD.

We aren’t moving to California.. but we feel the invitation to stand up and contend for the arts and entertainment industry. This is a time of Gods mercy, And we’re declaring it, praying for it, and know that He isn’t finished with Hollywood.

I don’t want my family to just see revival in this industry but be right smack dab in the middle of it!!! ABBA come and get your glory! 🙏🏽 by @katiemendo

‼️Pray with us! ‼️

News reports are coming out this morning that Perez Hilton was hospitalized after authorities responded to his home following a deeply concerning livestream involving apparent self-harm.

Regardless of what you know about Perez, what you think of him, or what you may have seen online, this is a moment to pray.

Please join us in praying for Perez. Pray for life and life abundantly over him. Pray for a sound mind, peace, healing, protection, and for the Lord to surround him and his family with people who will speak life, truth, and hope in this moment.

Jesus, we declare life over Your son. We pray that You would meet him right where he is and surround him and his loved ones with Your peace and presence.

In Jesus’ name. 🤍 by @katiemendo

Yesterday was his 40th birthday and today is our 18th anniversary. There’s so much to celebrate and every year with @jonmendo truly gets better.

We got married young and we always say “we grew up together,” it’s been a true adventure, and we feel like we are just getting started. Jonathan is a man of God and leads our family with strength and the fear of the Lord.

The fact that we get to choose each other every single day has changed my life. It’s a beautiful picture of how God chose to love us, and now we get to spend eternity loving Him back.

I’m so thankful for this life, this season, and the adventures ahead with my best friend. Thank you Jesus! by @katiemendo

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY
N O A H 💙 M I G H T Y!!!!

He’s full of JOY and CREATIVITY! His imagination is wild. He has a beautiful relationship with Jesus, and reminds all of us the truth, often!

NOAH GOT HEALED THIS YEAR!!!! He learned first hand that Jesus is the HEALER! He broke his arm, and was able to get his cast off weeks early because he was ready to be healed and prayed on the way to the Dr, “God heal my arm so I can get my cast off..” well when we got into the drs office they laughed and said “you aren’t getting your cast off early Noah.” Well after the X-Ray, they came back and said “Noah ready to get your cast off?” Only God can do that!!!! 😭

So thankful for this boy, how he lights up every room, and that I get to be his mom! What a gift he is!! 🎉 by @katiemendo

Join us this Friday from 12–2 PM at Mercy Culture Dallas as we pray and intercede for what’s happening at Coachella.

We are a company of creatives who contend for those in the entertainment industry to encounter their identity as sons and daughters. This is a moment to stand in the gap, on behalf of every artist, every attendee, and every space being influenced.

We’re gathering together to pray with intention, BRING YOUR BIBLES, come ready to pray.

Be there. taken in Dallas, Texas by @katiemendo
