Maverick - Jan 10, 2010 - April 3, 2025

After battling with CHF for many years Little Mav’s body just couldn’t hold on any longer and we lost him on a nice day in the sunshine last week.

He was my little shadow through many years of my life and was such a great family dog! He always thought he was a big dog and honestly in personality he was. Our world has been forever changed by him and our whole family will miss him very much ❤️

Thank you @mdewolf93 for taking such amazing care of him up till the end.

I’m sure his friends Badger and Milo were waiting for him 🪽 🐕 🐱 🌈 by @katiephantom

Thank you for everything Jack … ❤️

Jody, thank you for giving me the opportunity to hone my training skills, for all of our discussions on what it is to be a hunter, for being convinced to ‘dressage’ (even just a little!) and for her to convince me to get back up on the horse after having a baby and to have given me all the riding time I was able to have, AND get me back in the show ring! Forever thankful for that ❤️ I’m so deeply sorry for your loss… huge hugs ❤️

You were a special horse Jack Jack ❤️ thanks for everything and especially these few incredibly special ‘firsts’ ❤️❤️❤️

May you already be causing shenanigans in horsey heaven 🪽 🦄 ❤️ 🥕 by @katiephantom

Happy Easter from our fam to yours ❤️

Our new adventure… Claire Senna du Toit, was born October 12th 2023.

Claire (with her mum and dad in tow) spent quite a few days in and out of hospital with high bilirubin levels but we have now had three weeks to figure out the new family dynamics at home. Marcy has been amazing, curious but gentle, and we hope the two of them will become the best of friends.

We can’t believe it’s been over a month already that this baby girl has been in our lives! Being in love doesn’t even begin to describe the feeling 🥰 by @katiephantom

Come make an EnergyFizz stick mojito with me! Using the limited edition delicious Honeydew Melon fizz… which actually tastes just like lime mojito! 🍹 by @katiephantom

Life is good with furry children! So grateful 🥰 does she ever keep us on our toes though 🤪 by @katiephantom

Wow… I still haven’t come down from the clouds… and yes… I’m desperately searching and searching for more (better!) pictures of us with His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales! Robin, Zoe and I had the honour to present Prince Charles with Victoria, a horse that his mother, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, gifted to the RCMP as a yearling 4 years ago. Victoria’s mother is Elizabeth, a mare that the RCMP gifted to Her Majesty a few years previous to that! We had a brief moment to shake his hand and say a few words. Although I was just another face in a whirlwind of people he has met and will meet, he still took a brief moment to make a connection. I’m so grateful and appreciative for that moment and will cherish it forever… pictures from the press or not! I hope His Royal Highness and the Duchess of Cornwall had an enjoyable visit at the RCMP Musical Ride Stables!
