Since you died
the bears
came to town.

the world with the
fires, drought,
and blasting
heat

Sisyphean synergy -

We tried pushing that
lifeless boulder
up hill
as if the view would
change its mass

sometimes I just
need to do
something

I forgot how
licken
spreads
with pressure;
those three life forms
algae, bacteria and fungi
make
a watertight
barrier
