Country Roads, take me home! 💙💛💙💛 Thursday, I walked out of the Longworth House Office Building as Counsel for Rep. Riley Moore (WV-02) for the last time. Yesterday morning, I woke up in Martinsburg, WV and officially pre-filed to run for House of Delegates next year in West Virginia’s 96th district. In looking back at our nation’s Capitol one last time, I reflected on why it is I have always been called to public service. It is because of my mom, my dad, and the countless role models I have had the privilege of looking up to over the years. From President Trump to Virginia’s Governor Glenn Youngkin and Attorney General Jason Miyares. To Senator Shelley Moore Capito and Congressman Riley Moore, I have had several opportunities to learn from the very best, and I can only hope to make a fraction of the impact that they have made. Finally, Charlie Kirk. He died calling upon my generation to step up to the plate, and take the microphone. I feel compelled to not let his death be in vain, and I just know in my heart that his legacy will live on for generations to come. I’ll make sure of it. I am beyond thankful for the many blessings in my life, and for this dream instilled upon me when I was a little girl. ❤️🇺🇸 taken in Martinsburg, West Virginia by @katierosewv

Today, I was endorsed by my Congressman, Riley M. Moore (WV-02)! 🇺🇸👍🏻 I am thankful for having someone like Rep. Moore to look up to all these years and for the opportunity I was given to serve as his Legislative Counsel in Congress. I will forever be proud to share our passion for serving our Wild and Wonderful state, and I can only hope to make a fraction of the difference he has made for our people. Thank you, Congressman Moore, for always believing in me. taken in Martinsburg, West Virginia by @katierosewv

It’s officially the kick off of one of the best weekends in Martinsburg - the Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival! 🍎It was great to come together with our Commissioner of Agriculture, Miss West Virginia, and so many others friends to celebrate West Virginia’s apple industry. Let the festivities begin! by @katierosewv
