Danish book purchase 🇩🇰

I’ve had the most gorgeous few days in Copenhagen and bought this beautiful book to add to my collection and forever cherish my memories of Denmark.

As Hans Christian Andersen says himself, life itself is the most wonderful fairytale and I am so grateful for the adventures that Adam & I get to have together ✨

Happy Sunday bookworms! 🐛

Sorry I’ve been MIA recently I’ve been very busy buying a house 🙃🙌 And it’s taken over our lives recently.

Here is a throwback to one of the @littlefreelibrary I found in Georgetown, Washington DC and some warmer weather ☀️

What will you be reading today? Still reading the Lost Apothecary here 🤦🏻‍♀️

Book Purchase ✨

I’ve been getting back into reading, I’m between books and saw this when I was doing my food shopping and had to get it. I will be making a start after work today because I am OBSESSED with a small town romance 🤠 👀

How cute is the cover and my bookmark from Rome?! 🥰

Book Review ✨

Every Summer After: Carley Fortune

I’m late posting all my book reviews, but this one is quite timely as I’m counting down until the Amazon Prime series release on 10th June 📺

This was the perfect summer read on a Majorca holiday and was my favourite 2024 read. Small town romance and a slow burn 🔥

Reading this gave me Camp America nostalgia 🫶🏻 and it was honestly perfection. If you haven’t read it yet, you will love it and I have a feeling the series will be just as good!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: it’s a 5/5 from me

Book Review ✨

Girls in Love: Jacqueline Wilson

I listened to this series again for the first time since childhood ahead of the ‘Think Again’ release back in 2024. So nostalgic 👏🏻 so fun 👏🏻

Some references had not aged well but I felt transported back to year 9 👧 🏫

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: it’s a 5/5 obvs 💕

Shout out to Jaqueline for giving me my love for reading back in the 90s 🫶

Book Review ✨

Where The Crawdads Sing: Delia Owen

This was a reread after originally reading this one back in 2020. It was just as good the second time round. The book transports you to the North Carolina marshes instantly, following Kya through her life and its many challenges. It remains one of my favourite books and the twist gets me every time. The film was also such a great adaptation. Recommend the book, audiobook and film to those who haven’t seen it👌🏻 and I welcome any discussions as required 😉

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: it’s a 5/5 from me (obvs)

Holiday Reading 👙

I picked up the perfect holiday read for 1/2 price at the airport. Recommend for short chapters, I’ve nearly finished it! I’ve also just finished season 1 and am currently team Jeremiah and I won’t hear anymore on it.

Having a perfect Italian dream of a holiday 👌🏻

P.s how adorable is my bookmark also bought on holiday 🐈‍⬛
