Once you make your own there’s no going back! Homemade chicken broth is one of the main things I keep on my shelf or in the freezer because I use a lot of it!

It is very simple to make but it’s a lengthy process. So worth it!

Finally pulling this one from the drafts since we are still traveling!

This was a fun day spent with my family, making applesauce and memories.

Do you make your own applesauce?

Your house will also smell amazing if you make these!

Cinnamon rolls
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup cane sugar
2 1/2 tsp salt
4 eggs
1 cup warm water
3 T yeast
6-7 cups bread flour

Add milk, butter, sugar, and salt into a sauce, pan. Heat until the butter and sugar is melted.

In the meantime, add the yeast in a bowl with the water and a little bit of sugar. Stir and set aside until bubbly.

Beat the eggs. Add all the ingredients together. (Make sure the milk mixture is only lukewarm before adding to yeast and water) Temper the eggs if necessary.

Add 3 cups flour and mix until incorporated. Add the rest of the flour 1 cup at a time. I like the dough to pull away from sides a bit- but still stickier than bread dough.

Cover dough with a clean tea towel. Let’s sit for 30 minutes then punch down. Let it sit for another 30 minutes and then it’s ready to roll out

While you’re waiting, melt half a cup of butter and gather your cinnamon and brown sugar.

Roll out the dough, spread the butter on top, add brown sugar, and cinnamon (however much you feel like😉. Roll it up, cut into rolls and throw them onto a baking sheet.

Let sit for 30 minutes or until rolls are doubled in size. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes.

Notes… adding chopped apples to the cinnamon sugar filling is a delicious addition!

October Costco Haul…

Whenever I go to Costco my goal is to stock up for 2-3 months. It’s easy to feel like we need more than we actually do whenever I walk in there so going every month would be a bit hard in our wallet 😀.

Do you shop at Costco? by @katieskozykorner

Maybe I shouldn’t share this…

But I think a lot of Moms struggle silently because they’re afraid of being judged.

I’m not saying we should constantly talk negatively about motherhood- and I don’t think every single struggle needs to be shared (except with God) but it’s a blessing to have a couple other Moms to share hard seasons and advice with!

So let’s not judge other Moms if we don’t know what they’re going through (reminding myself here) by @katieskozykorner

Silly me- why did I think I would be able to balance everything I did before we had our daughter?

While I still love to have some office work, I also love slow mornings, cooking for my family, and just being present with my daughter.

If you’re pregnant and are worried about the same thing I was- just know that everything will work out. And it’s ok to JUST BE without a mile long to list!

Tell me, is this something you struggled with as well or was it just me? by @katieskozykorner
