Self soothing through an instagram post in hopes it will soothe someone else 🫀

The rise of skinny is in full force and I feel the body dysmorphia kicking in.

its summer, it’s hot and fun until you remember to suck in your stomach. It’s tank top weather until you see your arms. It’s all wonderful until you wonder how you are being perceived. And it’s a heavy burden to bear. Bones showing is on the rise and sickly celebrity images are getting stuck in heads and I feel like once again I’m learning to navigate this head space that I once thought I conquered.

But I’m here to remind you there is hope, because it’s all FAKE. Appearances are fake. Beauty standards are fake. It’s all meaningless and useless and that is absolutely awesome.

You were not formed in the hands of God from stardust to be perceived as skinny or beautiful or ugly or what the fuck ever. My goodness you are a miracle!!!! And your body is what carries that miracle. What an incredible task to be assigned. They hold us and walk us home, create life and share hugs. They stretch and tense and flow like water because we are water! We are gloriously designed exactly as we should be and I simply don’t have the capacity to be angry or mean to her anymore. I am made from love, of love, to love and be loved. And there’s nothing else to it.
You are deeply truly irrevocably beautiful, and it doesn’t even matter.

You just had to be there ☀️

I’m always so taken aback by how abundantly I can feel deep immense love, and so quickly!! But these angels make it pretty darn easy. I really am the luckiest girl in the world 🫀

I feel so honoured that this is a life I get to be living and so proud that what I’m building and believing for is coming into fruition. I feel so so rich in womanhood and Mother Nature and authentic love and I just wanna smear it all around!!!
