Everyone is so concerned with the outside not realizing what is going on with your insides.

This is a great reminder and such a powerful picture. 🤯

We spend money and time at...
The nail salon getting a manicure and pedicure. 💅🏻

The salon for hours getting our hair just the right color and cut. 💇🏻‍♀️

The department store stressing over clothes that fit our bodies just right. 👗

The spa getting facials and/or eyelashes that make our appearance more flawless. 🧖🏻‍♀️

Ulta or Sephora getting the perfect makeup to “paint our face” 💄

BUT.... we say it’s “too expensive” to take care of our insides. - 🤦🏻‍♀️

Every Father’s Day, we’d clean the garage for Josh. It was one of those simple traditions that made him happy. Today, we carried on that tradition, although I wish we could she his smiling face, I know he’s smiling down at his clean garage. ❤️

Jackson graduated 8th grade today and was honored with the Perseverance Award.

This award means so much because it recognizes the strength and determination he has shown through a very difficult year. He never gave up.

And somehow, somewhere along the way, he got taller than me too.

Josh always believed there wasn’t much you couldn’t learn if you were willing to try. Today she’s proving him right. Building, creating, and teaching herself along the way. Current life status: surviving day by day. Learning new things, i now know how to fix the pool filters, thanks to AI. Also learning i can not start the gas powered blower without Josh’s help, so we went to buy a new battery powered one. I highly recommend by the way😉 and basically just pretending I have everything under control while starting 14 new projects at once 😂 #igotthis #ormaybeidont #wewillfindoutiguess by @katlynn3200
