Rainy Friday night itinerary 🌧️🤎

City Barbeque, movies on the couch, and ending the night with sleeping babies 🥹

These simple little nights always end up meaning the most.

As a Carolina girl, barbeQue is SERIOUS business for me 😂 so grabbing City Barbeque for our family movie night was the perfect way to kickoff Barbeque season.

We ordered the family pack with pulled pork, mac and cheese, and green beans. We also made sure to grab some of their amazing desserts—the chocolate cake and banana pudding are delicious!

Affordable, cozy, easy, and full of sweet little family memories 🤍

TOP 1 magical family experience we’ve had in the Carolinas… and I already know we’ll be talking about this night forever 😭🦖✨

The LuminoCity Dino Safari Festival completely blew us away. From the glowing life-size dinosaurs, bounce zones, gemstone mining, dinosaur rides, music, tunnels, and all the interactive activities… it truly felt like stepping into another world.

I genuinely forgot I was the mama for a second 😂😬🤣

PLEASE take your family before it ends on June 14th!! And be sure to go closer to dark so you can get the FULL glowing experience at night. It’s absolutely magical after sunset 🌟

📍Located right beside Concord Mills
🗓 Open through June 14
⏰ Mon: 5PM–9PM
Sun & Thurs: 5PM–9:30PM
Fri & Sat: 5PM–10PM
❌ Closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays

✨ 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞: [𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐄] 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬!

🧦 And don’t forget SOCKS for the bounce zone!!
Come prepared to feel like a kid again and leave with core memories your family will never forget 🥹

Such a beautiful start to our weekend at Long Cove Resort 🤍

This place was exactly what I needed to slow down, unplug a little, and just enjoy being present with my family. From the moment you drive down the little road into the cove, it feels like you’ve stepped into your own peaceful little escape.

The views of Lake Wylie were everywhere… from inside our cozy cabin, from the loft, and just a few steps outside our door. Our cabin was the perfect size for the four of us and the kids immediately started exploring and making themselves at home.

It was quiet, relaxing, and truly one of those places that reminds you to slow down and soak in the little moments.

We’re already planning to come back again before summer is over.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway near South Charlotte or something fun to do around Lake Wylie, this hidden spot is definitely worth checking out.

Stay tuned for Day 2 of our adventure ✨
