Rolling hills, golden light, historic villages and endless vineyards — Tuscany is more than a place, it’s a feeling.
A wedding here isn’t just a celebration, it’s an experience your guests will never forget.

Slow moments, great wine, long tables and love written into every detail. 🤍🍇

If forever had a location, it would look a lot like Tuscany.

Big mountains, small gestures.

Nicole & Kai in the Dolomites. Behind them, those peaks rise like a backdrop from another world, dramatic and fearless. Barely paying attention to the breathtaking surroundings, Nicole and Kai look at each each other like they’re sharing a private joke the wind can’t carry away.

I love this kind of simple moments: two people moving forward, matching pace without keeping score, letting the day unfold one step at a time. And when you turn your head and find each other’s eyes, all that grandeur behind you somehow becomes secondary. Like the mountains are just there to remind you that real love isn’t loud, it’s constant.

Something amazing is just around the corner! 🤍

This November, I’ll be photographing my very first wedding in Morocco, and I honestly couldn’t be more excited!

I can’t wait to see this beautiful wedding weekend unfold, to experience the atmosphere, the traditions, and all those little in-between moments that make every love story so unique.

I feel incredibly honored that my couple has placed their trust in me to document such a meaningful chapter of their lives.

Marrakech, I can’t wait to create some beautiful memories with you! ✨🇲🇦

Your wedding should feel like memory, not performance.

Not like a day you had to stage perfectly, rather like a celebration you were fully present in.
The quiet hand squeezes, the unexpected laughter, the people you love gathered in one place, the little moments you might not even notice while they happen.

That is what I want your wedding photographs to hold! Not perfection, but the feeling of being there.

Save this if this is how you want your wedding to feel.

Dreaming of eloping in Portugal? 🇵🇹🤍

Imagine exchanging your vows on the dramatic cliffs of the Algarve, wandering through the romantic streets of Sintra or celebrating your love with an intimate dinner under the stars.

No pressure. No expectations. Just a day that feels entirely like you.

A few tips for your Portugal elopement:

🌿 Choose a location that reflects your story.

☀️ Consider spring or autumn for milder temperatures and beautiful light.

💍 Decide between a legal or symbolic ceremony.

🤍 Make it an experience, not just a wedding day.

📷 Leave room for the spontaneous, unposed moments.

And if your dog is part of your family, why not bring them along? 🐾

Planning your Portugal elopement? I’d love to document your story in a way that feels natural, meaningful and entirely yours.

Save this post for later or DM me PORTUGAL to start planning. 🤍

Less like a photograph, more like a memory.

🥂 Champagne first, everything else later.

Whoever decided that champagne should be served in a tower instead of a glass deserves a little appreciation. 😄

A champagne tower at your wedding? Slightly chaotic, a little unpredictable, and definitely more fun than simply raising a glass.

And honestly, watching these two pour champagne at Son Burguet in Mallorca, I was just hoping the whole thing would stay standing long enough for me to get the photos. 😂

Because sometimes the best wedding moments come with a little bit of suspense.

Would you trust yourselves with a champagne tower at your wedding, or would you rather leave the pouring to someone else? 🥂

28.08.2026 Laure & Fabian

Some weddings stay with you a little longer.

(EN) I already felt it during Laure & Fabian’s engagement shoot - we just clicked. And when their wedding day at Königshof Festscheune in Bielefeld finally came around, it felt less like showing up for work and more like spending the day with two people I had genuinely grown fond of. They are simply two incredibly kind humans, and I don’t think I’ll forget this day anytime soon. Thank you for trusting me with your memories, you two.

Where editorial meets real moments.

There’s a part of every couple session where I like to slow things down and be a little more intentional. To play with composition, movement and light. To create a few portraits that feel more editorial, without asking you to become someone you’re not in front of my camera. And then, somewhere in between, I stop directing. You start talking, laughing, walking or forgetting that I’m there at all. And this is when the photographs feel completely different. That mix is probably what I love most about couple sessions. Creating something beautiful and intentional, while still leaving enough space for the unplanned moments to find their way in.

Emily and Sebastian gave me plenty of both during their shoot near Frankfurt. Do you feel more drawn to the editorial portraits or the little moments that happen in between?

What does a relaxed 10-hour wedding day actually look like?

Ten hours might sound like a lot, but on a wedding day they somehow disappear faster than you expect. And for me, the perfect timeline isn’t about squeezing as much as possible into those hours. It’s about leaving enough space to actually feel them.

I would start with around 1.5 hours of getting ready. Enough time for the little details, the nervous excitement, your closest people being around you and those quiet minutes before everything suddenly becomes very real.

Then it’s time for the ceremony - usually around an hour including arrivals, hugs and that wonderful rush of congratulations afterwards.
The next 1.5–2 hours belong to your people. Champagne, canapés, family photos, conversations and all those moments you never could have planned.

Somewhere in between, I would steal you away for 30–45 minutes of couple time. Not because we need hundreds of portraits, but because having a little pocket of time just for the two of you can feel surprisingly good after being surrounded by people all day.

Then comes dinner. Take your time. Listen to the speeches, eat the food you spent months choosing and look around the table every now and then. These are your people, all in one place, for you.

By then, ties are getting looser, shoes are coming off and someone is already waiting impatiently for the dance floor. And that’s exactly where I love to end those ten hours: right in the middle of the party, when nobody cares about the camera anymore and the wedding has become wonderfully, joyfully messy. 🥂

The perfect timeline will look different for every couple, but I will always choose a little more breathing room over a day that feels like one long checklist. by @katricephoto
