Just me and my orange backpack against the world (+ my brother navigating us lol). We made it! Completed the Alta Via 1 75 mi in 7 days, and only almost keeled over once 😂

I feel so lucky to have been able to experience this journey and see the pure joy in an older Canadian woman’s face after she made it through to her last night in the rifugios 🥹

And yes, the song choice was intentional for what I came back to in the US taken in Dolomites, Italian Alps by @katrina_lars

What, like it’s hard?

It was indeed very hard lol, but nice to have friends to celebrate in Oregon after we killed that thing! First half ironman (and probably last lol) was a beautiful ride and perfect weather. For my non-tri friends, it’s a 1.2 mi swim, 56 mi bike, and a 13.1 mi run 😵‍💫 Crushed my goal of around 6 hrs with a 5:50 finish time 🎉

Peep my mom coming to Oregon just to eat tacos. Also, shoutout to Austin Tri Club for the bike box rental, his name is the Hulk now 🟩 taken in Salem, Oregon by @katrina_lars

Had a blast for my 2nd Austin Half 🎉
Congrats to all the peeps who completed their first half, their first full, or just went out and had a great time (including me lol) ❤️

Still disappointed about getting injured just before my first full in December, but grateful to be running again just in time for my tris this year! Plus, can’t complain with a 1:53 time after 2 months off of running! taken in Austin, Texas by @katrina_lars
