I thought we were doing a little arts & crafts project today. 🎨😂 Benny thought we were redecorating the entire house.

Today’s arts & crafts project: 10/10 for Benny, 2/10 for Mama’s decision-making skills. 😂🎨

There was puffy paint in his hair, on his clothes, the furniture, on the floor, and somehow in places I’m still discovering. 😂 But watching his little face light up as he created, explored, and made the biggest mess imaginable was worth every second of cleanup.

But honestly? I wouldn’t change a single messy moment. These are the days I’ll miss someday — the little hands, the giggles, the creativity, and the beautiful chaos that comes with being his mama. 🤍 Messy house, messy hair, full heart. 🥹🎨 I’ll take it all.

I may not have thought the mess through… but I wouldn’t trade these messy moments for anything in the world. 🥹🎨💙 by @katrinabrooks8

Of courseeeee I was bringing Benny to the 100th Anniversary of the Ben Franklin Bridge! Walking across this bridge was something I had wanted to do my whole life and I’m so lucky I got to do it today with my little buddy! We went to the lantern festival for a while and admired all of the displays, ate yummy treats and even took Bennett on his very first train ride! A perfect day of “first!” I’m so lucky to have you and to be able to make these special memories together. Hearing you yell wowwwwww for half of the bridge is a core memory I will cherish forever. Forgot to post our One Happy Dude Party we had at @riverandrootnj Benny and his friends and family had a wonderful time. We spent his actual birthday together as a family at the zoo and enjoying some of his favorite foods which ended in a seafood feast! We love this little boy so much!
