‼️TRIGGER WARNING: Sexual assault
This one was a tough one… 😮‍💨💔… I just want to say that Mario shared his story with us voluntarily. This was an important reminder that As barbers we hold a serious responsibility to navigate moments like this carefully.

Sometimes this is the only place someone feels safe enough to put down what they’ve been carrying.

I don’t think any training fully prepares us for moments like this, when a client trusts you with their deepest pain and survival. We aren’t therapists, but we can be a safe harbor.

To anyone carrying quiet heavy burdens today: you are heard, and your story matters

I’m grateful he felt safe enough to share.

What a haircut should cost is one of the biggest debates among clients and barbers. As a Barber i understand why prices go up (Barber tools are more and more expensive) but.. i decided im just going to remove that barrier all together.. hope it helps

Its thanks to your donations that im able to do so. Thank you so much for helping me make this happen🤞🏼❤️

Shout out to @s.trianna for this valuable perspective .. we here to fill the gaps 🤞🏼

CC : to joint the movement

How we looking chat? I truly believe we have the power to create solutions , bring new ideas, and introduce new ways into the world , the difference we want to see has to be made by us, by our own hands and feet, not someone else’s. We have to be the change and create the difference in the world not just wait around for someone else’s to come around with some solutions…free haircuts… is it possible??? #Loveyou #barber #haircut #thepullupbarberproject #youmatter by @katso_thepullupbarber

What’s your experience in the barbershop?

For many of my clients, the barbershop was not a place they necessarily felt ‘comfortable’ going. For me as a woman working in a barbershop, the experience made me open my own shop!

Most of the women who found me were relieved to have an alternative 😮‍💨. Not tryna be funny when I say I saved so many women.

When I go into shelters, and nursing homes, I service people who would likely never walk into a barbershop. That’s why I am so excited to offer people a barbershop experience without all the things that keep you away from the barbershop

help me make that possible, donate to hope on wheels 🚌🙏🏼❤️‍🔥 together we can make the world a better place
