To my youngest son, You’re getting bigger, taller and stronger every day. Each day brings something different. There are days when you’re doing great and there are days when you feel frustrated, agitated and helpless.

I pray you could tell us in words what you’re feeling, what hurts and what makes you angry. I pray we could understand more what’s going on inside your heart and mind, so we could help you in the way you need most.

As a mother, One of the most painful things for us is seeing you cry while hitting yourself and biting your fingers. It breaks our hearts to see you struggling and not knowing how to make things better for you.

Sometimes, The hardest prayer to pray is asking God to protect you from yourself, from hurting yourself. As much as we want to protect you from everything that causes you pain. I wish I could shield you from every frustration, every overwhelming moment and every pain you cannot yet put into words.

So we keep praying for you my boy, for peace in your heart, comfort in your moments of frustration, and the ability to express what you feel.

I will keep loving you no matter what and i will keep learning how to understand you better. You may not always have the words to tell us what you feel, but we hope you will always feel our love.

You are never a burden. We love you through every good day and every difficult one. And we will keep praying, trusting that God will guide us as we walk through this journey with you.

“Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.”

Happy 40th birthday to my amazing, ultimate and friendly spidey husband @ohbaron It’s such an honor to be your wife. I am in awe of how our extraordinary God uses an ordinary man like you. You can be like John Mark, Barnabas and Paul simultaneously, depending on how the Lord intends for you to be utilized. You are also like Solomon. You never asked for anything but only wisdom on how to navigate your life and your plans. That’s why the Lord is pleased and blesses you with many things and my ultimate prayer for you is that you will faithfully finish well with grace just as Paul did who fought a good fight of faith and as Daniel did who remained humble and faithful to God. Thank you for always giving your best for me, for your kids and for others. 🙏 We are beyond blessed! We love you so much! by @katsparedes

Our journey together for more than 2 decades is not easy and it led us through many different seasons of life but I praise God that He allowed us to follow the same path together and grow in our relationship towards Him.

To my person, I will keep my promise to be with you in every deep valley of hardship and testing and every mountain moment of joy.
Thank you for loving me even sometimes I’m unlovable, for being patient with me when I don’t want yet to process my feelings and for helping me grow in areas that I thought I was incapable of. I’m truly beyond blessed having you!

I’m much excited growing old with you and serving alongside you every day, seizing every opportunity the Lord presents us with. I love you more than words! @ohbaron #17yearsandcounting❤️ #weddinganniversary #MyKingdomPartner #Myperson #Mybrother😊 Latepost by @katsparedes

My dearest @brypards_ ,

Seeing you yesterday, it’s hard not to look back when your mom and I had you when we were just 16. My first question was “How in the world do I do this?”. During that time, I could have never imagined seeing you celebrate your graduation day.

My first greatest fear is for me to fail you. And if I did, that my mistakes becomes your limits. But I am so proud of you, at your age you have surpassed me, succeeded in more areas when I was your age. It has been one of the greatest blessing to have the front row seat watching you become the man you are today.

But do you know what brings me the greatest joy as your dad? It isn’t just your diploma or your achievements. It’s seeing the kind of person you’ve become. Seeing how many people genuinely love you, believe in you, and are cheering you on. That tells me more than any award ever could.

As a young father, I’ve always been anxious. How can I provide the best life for you. I use to dread every start of a school year always thinking “How in the world do I do this?”. You are my witness Bryan. The Lord has truly been faithful.

So as you embark your new journey, if ever you question yourself self the same question, “How in the world do I do this?”. Here’s what I’ve learned.

Look up. Seek God first.

Look around. You’re surrounded by people who love you and want you to succeed.

Then look back. Your mom and I will always be here, cheering you on every step of the way.

We are so proud of you.
I’m so proud of you.
Well done, son.

“I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.”

Congratulations, my eldest son! I want you to know that your father and I are incredibly proud of what you’ve accomplished and the person you’ve become. Most especially, the Lord is more proud of you because of your different values, faith and perspective on life. You try not to conform to secular values even if it’s difficult for you. It’s all by God’s grace and that’s why
I’m also excited about the future that awaits you. Always look up my son no matter what and Jesus is your true north! Remember, we’re always here for you and we love you unconditionally.
My prayer for you is in Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” by @katsparedes

Happy Father’s Day our very own spider dad @ohbaron We are beyond blessed and grateful having you. Our kids would undoubtedly agree with me wholeheartedly that you’re an incredible human being. That’s why not only our kids and also most young kids loved hanging out with you. You possess the ability to make them laugh while uplifting their spirits in a truly positive manner. This is the greatest blessing our family experiences every day.
You shower all of us with your encouraging words, unconditional love, grace, wisdom, courage, peace and laughter. Truly we experience God’s love through you. You’re exceptional and perfectly imperfect!
I really praise God for giving us with such a loving and intentional father. We love you to the moon and back! by @katsparedes

Today, we faced one of our deepest concerns.
My Caleb, went outside our home while we are all asleep. Despite the numerous locks installed on our door, he managed to figure out how to open it. He’s very smart, but thankfully and by God’s grace he returned after just two or three minutes.. To be honest, I was initially scared and suddenly my thoughts were filled with “what ifs” because I knew he couldn’t communicate and didn’t have a real sense of danger.

I paused, prayed and asked God what I should learn and do. I cried because I know that this can happen again, just like the stories I hear and see from others with children with ASD but God reminded me again with His promise in Philippians 4:7 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Then all of sudden God’s peace calms my nerves.

Yes, we can’t control the future, which is why we must fervently pray for our children’s future. This is a lesson I’ve been learning from God for many years. Instead of worrying about their future, I pray for theirs.

I do pray every single day for my children and especially to my son with ASD I pray that the Lord will be his defender, his counselor, protector and provider. I earnestly hope and pray that God will send someone who will love and care for my son more deeply than I do, especially when we are no longer present. I also firmly believe that the Lord will grant my prayers, just as I firmly believe that He will soon be able to speak and lastly, I pray for myself for the wisdom that I need on how I should raise them.

Thank you Lord for your guidance and grace today🙏

Happy 23rd birthday to my eldest son! I want you to know how much I truly appreciate you and how much mama loves you. I genuinely admire your unwavering conviction in life and the love and care you pour out for us, especially to your brother. The sacrificial love you’ve shown for your brother has brought tears to my eyes. I know it’s also hard for you.
I’m forever grateful for your unwavering commitment prioritizing your brother over yourself. While it’s not your duty, your constant consideration for him truly means the world to me.
I also appreciate you sending us constant messages letting us know where you are and who you’re with photos pa 😅 kahit hinde namin tinatanong. I love all our magic moments together that lasts for 2hrs or more, just talking about life, your future and some interesting stuff. Thank you as well for always keeping our home neat and tidy without asking me asking you to do it. It’s a huge help for me. Thank you also for all the wonderful photos and videos you captured for us and we are beyond blessed for you are also a big part of the ministry work and discipleship that the Lord entrusted to us.
I’m always proud of you! Remember, Mama always praying with you and for you. We love you dearly anak! @brypards_ by @katsparedes

Today, we celebrated God’s resurrection and we were reminded once again of its significance in our lives as followers of Christ. We grab this opportunity to ask our children again if they are assured of their salvation? I’m always amazed by my eldest son’s direct and profound response. As a parent it gives me assurance that our children have a genuine relationship with Christ and are certain of their place in heaven by accepting God’s gift of eternal life, placing their faith in Him and understanding their purpose in life.

To my youngest son with ASD and non-verbal
I know that even though you can’t speak yet, even with your nod, I know that you believe in Christ. Your capacity for faith is not limited by your communication skills as God’s grace is sufficient to reach people with special needs and I’m not getting tired telling you about Jesus every single day and I know that you understand His love. People with special needs have a special place in heaven and I know they have a greatest reward in heaven.

As a parent, it’s an honor and privilege to share the good news with my children first. It’s crucial for me to model a faithful relationship with the Lord, help my child understand and experience a selfless purpose for their existence and allow the Holy Spirit to work in their lives. by @katsparedes
