She's back with plenty of time to spare before the big anniversary 🤍 In 3 weeks, I celebrate 10 of the best years of my life. Wowoweewow. 10 years and 13,000 stitches. I am hoping to have this back as a finished belt in time for my 10 year sobriety anniversary this October. This means so much to me to have this designed by another sober stitcher Tess of @hellotess_designs. Onto the binding stitch!

Hey y'all! Since I've been in a bit of a stitching slump, I figured I'd introduce myself.

I'm Kateryna (rhymes with ballerina) or Kat for short.

I started needlepointing in May 2020 thanks to the inspo from Carly and pandemic anxiety. I decided to stop lurking and start posting with a separate ndlpt acct in Dec 2020. Ndlpt has been a big assist in helping me maintain my sobriety.

I love naps, jumping into bodies of water no matter the temp, listening to romance books, and an early morning adventure. I am fiercely proud to be from and live in NJ. There's nothing I love more than being a supportive cheerleader from my phone so if I come on strong, *shrug*. Anxiety is real and I may need to hype myself up to respond but truly love this corner of the interwebs.

Ornament finishing back from @nimbleneedlenj 🎉 which meant it was time to update the staircase display. I would love to spruce up the display with some greenery, pom pom garland, or what have you but haven't gotten there yet. by @katstitchedthis

Yee-freakin-haw! Hatband is done 🤠 I won't be repeating my choices in finishing it, particularly around the clasp - but it's useable and that's all I need. Hatband canvas from @morganjuliadesigns, stitched with velvets and Frye Werks with a S&I binding stitch. by @katstitchedthis
