Stepping into the light and choosing to show up for myself 🫢✨ β€’ For a while, I put my solo dancing on the back burner while pouring so much of myself into teaching, partnering, and building everything around me. But it’s time to make space for myself again. ☺️🩷 β€’ This is my reminder to stop overthinking, stop holding myself back, and start creating just because I love to dance. I want to challenge myself, train more solo, and allow myself to be seen. πŸ™ˆ β€’ A huge thank you to @dynamicvoyagemedia for filming this with me at 1 a.m. during the festival πŸ˜‚ and to @josway_official for always being my biggest supporter and believing in me every step of the way. ❀️ β€’ Here’s to showing up & taking risks ❀️ πŸ‘  @yamidanceshoes #bachata #bachatadancing #bachatafusion #lasvegas #ladiesstyling by @katt.gxx
The music stopped in the middle of our demo… and for a brief moment, we didn’t know what to do. πŸ₯Ή Then we heard the class telling us to keep going. SO WE DID ✨🀍 β€’ We could feel the love, encouragement, and energy from everyone in the room. You reminded us that dance isn’t just about the songs we move toβ€”it’s about the people we share them with. β€’ What started as an unexpected moment became one we’ll cherish forever. Thank you for believing in us, cheering us on, and making us feel so supported. Moments like these are why we love this community. β€’ A huge thank you to @phothomasofficial for capturing and editing this crazy video 🫠 β€’ Thank you to @sensualmovement & @empire_sensual_movement for bringing us to New York and giving us the opportunity to do what we love. πŸ’• β€’ And the biggest thank you to @anutka_d_17 for believing in us. We hope to continue making the Sensual Movement family proud. 🀍 β€’ 🎢 @_djmagicflow #newyork #bachata #bachatafusion #bachatasensual by @katt.gxx
There were late nights and early mornings constantly working in between classes. Worked full-time, danced full-out, and took the road less traveled. This degree holds every ounce of my resilience. β€” and I’m so proud to say: I did it. πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“πŸ«Ά #ucsdgrad β€’ πŸ“Έ @josway_art ❀️ by @katt.gxx
β€œI’m still proving that you can do dance as a career.” The Floor We Share, Chapter 5: The Means to Escape Especially in today’s world, many of us use dance as a way to escape. It’s not only why dance is important to @katt.gxx, but it also highlights her responsibility and privilege to help channel that escape for the people around her. In this episode, watch her provide those means to her students and the @melomanoent Ladies team. #TheFloorWeShare #bachata #salsa #photodocumentary #dancephotography by @katt.gxx

Sometimes, you don’t understand why things happen the way they do. You don’t always see the bigger picture, or realize that certain moments are happening for a reason. But I truly believe there’s always a bigger plan. 🀍 And this weekend felt like one of those moments where everything was just meant to be. I had the opportunity to teach three workshops, all using the FUZE Methodology, but from three completely different perspectives: as a leader, as a follower, and as a solo artist and instructor. Three different roles, three different approaches, but all connected by the same vision. And somehow, it felt like little pieces of a much bigger puzzle were finally starting to come together. 🧩 As an instructor, this weekend gave me something I didn’t even realize how much I needed: a boost of confidence. A reminder of why I do what I do, why I believe so deeply in what I’m building, and why I need to keep trusting the process, even when the path isn’t always clear. And then there was this moment. πŸ₯Ή Kat, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for going along with my ideas, for trusting me and the process, and for sharing this experience with me. Being able to dance my own style, to a song I created, alongside someone I genuinely consider a good friend, meant more to me than I can explain. There was something so special about that moment. It wasn’t about perfection, or proving anything. It was simply about creating, connecting, and being completely ourselves. I know this is one of those memories I’ll carry with me for a very long time. Sometimes life has a funny way of putting you exactly where you need to be, with exactly the people you need, at exactly the right moment. And this weekend reminded me to trust that a little more. πŸ’™βœ¨ by @katt.gxx
