It was YESTADAY, but I was unalived by a virus this week, but im alive today so on TODAY ima put up a lil post for my boo. My big sister, my protector, my bully😂, my best friend. I cannot string together any words that could begin to sum up the dances we’ve made up, the fights we’ve fought together, the laughs, the photoshoots, the late nights, all the things that we’ve shared. You’ve been there my entire life and baby, I wouldn’t never want to know a life without you! You’ve taught me so many things, you gone tell me when I’m wrong, you gone tell me when I’m right. I love you like a fat kid love cake. P.O.P HOLD ME DOWN! by @kattburglar

Pro tip: marry your best friend. 👍🏽

Had such a great Saturday with @silentp_comics / @sileent_p. We had a dope time at the @classiccutboyz cookout. Stopped in @seasickrecords to get some cool stuff & went to @bruto_bham for a sammie and pizza.

*not pictured* stopping at thrift stores looking for movies, & finding the cutest boots. & the four+ hours spent playing DK64. by @kattburglar

Trying to put myself out there and document my church outfits. I am a black goth/alt woman who is also Christian at an Anglican Church in the south. I love dressing my best for church. When I was in seminary, I felt like I needed to look like your typical Christian woman… holding her Bible in one hand and her coffee in another. It’s nothing wrong with that, but I freed myself from feeling like I had to look like what people assume a Proverbs 31 woman looks like (IYKYK).

I am a lot of things, and I have a lot of interests that some Christians might take issue with. That’s okay. I am just me: the woman God designed me to be. So I will continue to share outfits & the gospel.🖤✝️ #blackalt #blackgoth #christiangoth #gothfashion by @kattburglar

Well, hello!! The Souler Realm is still here & still making content (just individually right now, so still support!). But we are going to be showing up on your feeds more frequently soon. So this post was to get your attention. 😘 by @kattburglar

Six years ago, we stood before the Lord, our family, & friends and made a vow to one another. Six years later, no regrets. I can’t imagine regretting being married to you.

This weekend, we celebrated in our own city… our favorite city. We stayed at @thepaintedladyhotel , a boutique hotel on 2nd ave S. We treated ourselves to coffee at @calacoffeeco & @aliciascoffee_aggastonmotel. We enjoyed pizza from @unclegspizza, grabbed an assortment of pastries from @lastcallbaking, & had our anniversary dinner at @elroyalecafe. We came home to our sweet boys, turned on the new “Knives Out” movie, opened a bottle of brut & toasted to 6 wonderful years (“& 60 more,” P added).

***enjoy this clip of me singing this entire song to P during our first dance***😅

Phillip, you are the most kindest person to ever walk this earth. Your patience and willingness to help others is something to desire. I am beyond blessed to be your wife & best friend. I love you in every timeline. Always. by @kattburglar

Thirty-five. I don’t think I saw this coming. I still feel much younger (with the exception of adult responsibilities). But 35 also feels like a new beginning. I never want to be stuck, so I hope I can continue to grow and learn. Here’s to more creating, learning, loving, & growing.

This bodice & skirt were both made by me.
