The French manicure wasn’t just a beauty trend 💅 it became one of the defining beauty looks of the late ‘90s and early 2000s, showing up all over movies and TV shows. Clean, classy, feminine, timeless, and endlessly versatile ✨ Here’s a look back at the French manicure as seen on some of the most iconic characters in ‘90s and early 2000s movies and TV shows ✨ from Friends, The O.C., The Sopranos, Clueless, Legally Blonde, 13 Going on 30, and more. Which character had your favorite French manicure? Who would you add to this list? 💖 by @katunderspells
Some of my favorite Gilmore Girls thrift finds ☺️ Nothing compares to the magic of spotting a piece and instantly recognizing it from my comfort show. I’ve collected plenty over time, but here are a few gems: 🧡 A 2000s vintage Sue Wong dress as seen on Lorelai Gilmore (now part of my personal collection) 🧥 A Nordstrom Symmetry blazer as seen on Lorelai in two different season 5 episodes 🍽️ Floral plates like the ones in Lorelai’s kitchen (later seasons)… both the blazer and plates were carried at my shop @cinemaspells 🌷 All sourced in The San Fernando Valley, 📍✨ Thrifting pieces that feel straight out of Stars Hollow makes the hunt even more special. ✨ Gilmore Girls Costume designer: @brenmaben, Key Costumer: @valeriescateyescream #GilmoreGirls #GilmoreGirlsStyle #GilmoreGirlsOutfits #StarsHollow #LorelaiGilmore #thriftfinds #thriftedfashion #2000s #autumnstyle by @katunderspells
☀️ A Pasquini summer morning ✨ Sipping from 1990s vintage Pasquini espresso mugs ~ made by the legendary company best known for their espresso machines & coffee gear. These little cups were the moment in the 90s and early 2000s, even making cameos at two of TV’s most iconic coffee shops: Central Perk in Friends and Café Nervosa in Frasier. Today, they’re extra rare and so hard to find! “For music, Puccini. For art, Bernini. For espresso, Pasquini.” ☕️ These are some of my favorite thrifted treasures. Just a little ritual before taking my pup on his morning walk…🐾 A little Dakota Hearts ring cameo ~ California crafted by @plcpeggy 💝 #friends #centralperk #cafenervosa #frasier #asseenontv #vintagehome #thriftedfinds #pasquini #coffeeritual #friendstvshow #tvprops #espressolover #coffeetime by @katunderspells
