I’ve been blessed to have an amazing mom but then something amazing happened to me. God added a bonus mom, a mother in love, a spiritual mom and sisters who are the God-mothers to my baby girl. I am so thankful. My heart is full. I have the best examples from so many wonderful women and I’m eternally grateful.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing Mama’s out there. I know it is not always easy. I know there are so many things that go unseen. I know there are many sleepless nights and early mornings BUT you’re an amazing mom and your children are blessed to have you! 🤍

To my husband: I wouldn’t be able to be the mother I am if not for you and the way that you serve and provide for our family. I am thankful for you and I am honored to be the mother of your children. 😘 by @katuraaaah

Story time:

@codybernbeck and I got pregnant 3 months after we got married. 😅 Side note: We met in May 2020 and got married September 2020. #whenyouknowyouknow

There are so many things you can’t predict or even prepare yourself for concerning marriage let alone adding a child to the mix. So we’ve been figuring out how to stay friends, communicate well, raise a baby AND create the life we want to live according to what we believe God wants for us. Bruh… the hustle has been REAL.

During our current family vacation our sweet little bird has entered a lovely phase where she is navigating how to communicate her feelings in her “inside voice” aka we tryna get her not to scream about the things she wants. 🙄

Today was rough and we both looked like a truck hit us by the time we made it back home from @target BUT! I had the honor of watching my husband put in the work to be the father and husband he desires to be for me and our children and for that I am thankful.

This one is for you baby! Thank you for all that you do for us. Thank you for trying to be the best you can everyday. We appreciate you. You are deeply loved by your girls forever and all ways! 🤍 by @katuraaaah

I’m not sure how many of y’all know that my boo thang is a Basketball coach. This season was tough but, I’m extremely proud of his resilience. He is the absolute best coach I have ever seen or known. I am thankful to know that there are men that still care about the lives of the next generation of men enough to sacrifice their own desires and time to make sure this next group of world changers does just that #changetheworld.

I am so deeply and passionately proud of you @codybernbeck . Thank you for all that you do for Birdie and I. I’m looking forward for our post season vacation. 🫶🏽🎉

So for all my folk out there let me let you in on my life. I’m not used to this thang. Ya girl was an athlete but this #coachwifelife is a different animal.

Navigating this as a wife and Mama for the second year has been humbling and encouraging all in the same breath.

God has been gentle with me, almost as if to present me with flowers in the midst of the lessons He is teaching me.

🌻 Flowers that encourage me to be kind to myself in the midst of raising a 1 year old and navigating the intricacies of marriage and becoming one with my one and only.

🌻 Flowers that bring the fragrance of grace for unexpected late nights and early mornings.

🌻 Flowers that need pruning, watering, rearranging or, attention. Reminding me that my way the things that I see things or would do things requires a new vantage point sometimes.

If you’ve made it this far in my caption thank you for sticking with me. Be encouraged friend. This season, the one that you are pressing through or flying through won’t be this way forever. I’m here to encourage you to stop and enjoy the flowers along the way. 🤍 by @katuraaaah
