Summer’s not over yet🍅✨

I made a tomatotini inspired by @drinksbyevie recipe. Smooth, delicious, perfumey, and every dream for a tomato lover. All tomatoes and fresh herbs are from our garden here in Santa Barbara! And yes, it was just as good as it looked.

See my recipe below👇

 🍸Makes 4 martinis

 🌿Basil-garlic fat-washed vodka:
• 12 oz vodka
• 2 oz basil + garlic flavored olive oil
• 4 to 6 fresh oregano leaves

Combine vodka and olive oil in a jar. Add oregano and let infuse for 4 to 6 hours at room temperature, giving it a shake occasionally. Freeze until the oil solidifies, then strain the vodka through a coffee filter to remove the fat and herbs. Keep chilled.

 🍅Tomato water:
• One bowl of cherry tomatoes
• A heavy pinch of smoked salt

Chop tomatoes and add them to a blender with salt. Blend until smooth. Strain through a strainer lined with a damp coffee filter overnight.

✨For the cocktails:
• 8 oz basil-garlic fat-washed vodka
• 4 oz tomato water
• 1 oz dry vermouth
• ½ oz fresh lemon juice
• ½ oz simple syrup, or to taste
• Pinch of salt

Add everything to a cup with plenty of ice. Stir really well and strain into martini glasses.

⭐️Garnish with a frozen tomato, fresh basil, and extra virgin olive oil from @getgraza

And enjoy your last sip of summer!
