For a long time, I thought feeling desired had a lot to do with the person across from me.

Was he initiating? Wanting me more than anything else? Looking at me like a steak after a work day?

And if I’m really honest, sometimes I had already written the whole fairytale in my head. Like to the T.

How the night would go.
What he would say at what moment.
How romantic it would feel.
How wanted and desired I would feel.

And then I’d be disappointed when reality didn’t match the version I had imagined.

Or I’d wait for him to create the feeling for me.

Plan something sweet.
Touch me on my back.
Tell me I looked beautiful and look in my eyes.
Make the night feel special.

And underneath all of that, there was often a quieter question:

Do you want me?

The shift came when I started realizing how much of my own aliveness I was outsourcing. How much I was waiting for IT.

Or…

I could put on the dress.
Play the Afro beats music.
Light the beaswax candle.
Ask for him to massage me.
Move my body like the wild thing.
Create flowers arrangements in the afternoon for no reason.
Let an ordinary Wednesday feel delicious.

And the more I stopped performing for attention, the less I needed to chase the feeling of being wanted.

I started paying attention to what actually felt good to me.

Not what looked sexy.
Not what I thought he would like.
Not what I thought I was supposed to want.

And something funny happened.

The more connected I became to myself, the more playful, expressive, sensual and alive I felt.

And yes, he noticed.

Not because I learned some trick for getting more attention.

Because the energy between us changed when I stopped waiting for him to make me feel alive and started participating in my own pleasure.

That’s the practice behind 30 Days of Pleasure.

Thirty days of small, delicious invitations back into your body.

To soften the criticism.
Wake up your many senses.
Give yourself permission to want.
Release some of the shame around desire.
Ask for what you want more clearly.
And start choosing the things that make you feel genuinely, unapologetically alive.

Thirty days. One yes a day.
A life that finally turns you on.

Join anytime. ❤️ by @katyaslife

I raised $3M as a single mom in my 20s building HeyMama with no IV league education or former startup experience.

I went to Hunter College, studied political science, and only knew one entrepreneur that taught me my biggest lessons. She was my sister, and I did door-to-door sales in college so I could afford to live in New York City, while I helped her build her court reporting company

Fast forward to having the courage to build my first company (my sister fired me because I was too bossy and told me to build my own business, thank you sis). I didn’t have the perfect deck. I didn’t know the right people. But I understood one thing most in my bones that I only could’ve learned the hard way.

I ate no for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 😋 no didn’t bother me anymore. Enough people will slam a door in your face, you knock on another door.

Rejection wasn’t a setback, it was part actually a part of the strategy. Every no sharpened the pitch, and thickened the skin and got me to the yes that changed everything.

Next month inside the Feminine Matrix, @jadeva.us 12 month accelerator for soul led entrepreneurs, my friend @samanthatrudolph is teaching exactly this — a live fundraising class for women ready to raise their first round and scale their business on their own terms.

Sam helped me see the founder path differently. Now she’s doing the same for you.

I almost forgot how much I love my life.

Not because everything is perfect.

Last week has held tears, uncertainty, big conversations, and moments where I’ve questioned everything. Cancer energy to the maxxxxx.

But today I caught myself looking around and realized…

I genuinely love the life I’m building.

I love my home. So much I worship this land.
I love my daughter. My soul child.
I love my partner @danielsears.co So much my heart bursts.
I love that we get to dream together.
I love the women I get to serve at @jadeva.us, 18 of them showed up today to grow together.
I love that we got to celebrate new business together today for both of our companies.
I love that even in my doubts, I know who I am.

For so many years I thought happiness was when I had the external safety. Today I know that I create internal safety and help other women do the same.

This is the milestone. Building a life that still feels beautiful while you’re on your way. We are all on our way. So let’s go to together 🫶🏼

What are we celebrating friends!? 🤍 by @katyaslife

We came to discuss the signs of intelligent life. This was our final conclusion. 😂💋

Last night’s @jadeva.us Signs & Shadows was a beautiful reminder that taking off our masks means embracing ALL of ourselves. The inner G, the wise woman, the sacred rebel, the mystic.. the silly goose.

From @lizmasucci incredible performance of Jane Wagner’s The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe to this moment with @iammadimurphy of @thecosmicrx and @ruthklloyd, who’s building her next food venture Fronds alongside 85 heart-led entrepreneurs in the Feminine Matrix Accelerator, it was an epic night with 55 powerhouse women from New York City, who came together in an apartment to feel awe.

Deep conversations, brilliant women, @casajtequila flowing, and then some groovy dance moves.

More of this for our community. 🖤 are you a spiritually led founder in NYC? Comment below to get on the guest list for our next event. ✌️ by @katyaslife

The way we build matters. So does the energy we bring to it. ✨

Three women, a shared vision, and a love for El Salvador. Bringing intuition and intention to real estate while honoring the land, the community, and the culture that make this place extraordinary.

Rooted in purpose. Guided by something divine.

This is Sol Salvador. ☀️

There is a beauty in El Salvador that I am still finding words for. I felt it in the land and in the way something within me softened and opened.

A remembering that the earth is alive. That we belong to her. That she is always inviting us closer—to feel, to listen, to experience the beauty and healing she holds.

I came home changed.

And I’m still discovering what this land awakened in me.

The people questioning your decisions aren’t paying your mortgage baybee.

Their opinions don’t accrue interest. Your choices do.

And at some point, you have to decide whose life you’re actually living.

Maybe a life that makes perfect sense to everyone else doesn’t make sense to you.

Maybe a life measured out in neat little dollops of predictability feels completely illogical to your soul.

Maybe you’re just crazy enough to follow the yellow brick road, fly down to El Salvador, and start dreaming up a project that lights something inside you on FIRE. 🔥

Even when you can’t fully explain it.
Even when the pieces haven’t come together.
Even when you have absolutely no idea where the road leads.

Because sometimes you feel something before you can make sense of it.

And sometimes that’s enough to take the first step.

Here’s to a life that doesn’t always make sense, but feels deliciously, unmistakably YOURS. ❤️‍🔥 by @katyaslife

NYC, we’re bringing together some extraordinary women for a night of art, embodiment, brave leadership, and a little shadow work. 🖤✨

On October 29th, we’re gathering for AN EVENING OF SIGNS & SHADOWS, and I couldn’t be more excited about the women joining us.

✨ Liz Masucci @lizmasucci will bring Jane Wagner’s iconic The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe to life through a special theatrical performance.

✨ I’ll be guiding a my ALIVE activation to get us into our hearts and connected with our higher selves.

✨ @iammadimurphy of CosmicRX, @ruthklloyd, and @karaladd will join us for a powerful conversation on brave leadership, authenticity, and what it takes to show up fully expressed in our lives and businesses.

Because I believe the next era of leadership isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about having the courage to bring ALL of ourselves to the table, to be real about the blind spots and find new slipstreams of growth.

And on this evening that means making friends with our shadows, standing bravely in our humanness. 😉

Expect incredible women, meaningful connections, art, a little magic, and some delicious wine and bites.

Happy birthday to a real one @danielsears.co 🥳
There’s so much I can say about why I love you and why you are so loved, but on this special birthday, I want you know something simple.

You’re a man who has shown me what the divine masculine is capable of, you’re an incredible father and stepfather, and your way of seeing the world and helping others is one of your greatest gifts. You blow peoples minds everywhere you go, and I cannot wait for all of your dreams to launch in full bloom.

i’m so grateful for the pillar you are in our community, the anchor you are in my life, and the rod of strength you are for girls. You have endless capacity to love us, to love others, and I hope you continue to find that deep love for yourself.

Six days to come home to yourself.

To your body.
To your creativity.
To your intuition.
To your desires.
To your voice.
To the rhythm underneath the life you have built.

Venus Rising is an invitation to step outside the pace of everyday life and enter a space designed for beauty, restoration, connection, and possibility.

There will be astrology and embodiment. Ocean swims and sunset gatherings. Beautiful meals and meaningful conversations. Strategic mentorship, creative exploration, spacious afternoons, and time to simply be.

We will work and rest in equal measure.

And somewhere within that spaciousness, you begin to hear yourself again.
