🤩 @ssbdfest was incredible! We decided to go as a little honeymoon situation after our small August wedding and I’m so glad we sent it! 🐠 Perfect size, perfect weather, gorgeous lake & surrounding environment. Endless side quests like boating out to Nakey Island for @machinedrum & @fmlybzns_ 🧜🏼‍♀️swimming and dancing with amazing friends 💫 Life is really beautiful when you learn to let go and go with the natural rhythm of people, places and things. I’m in flow state these days and it’s never felt better 🧡 grateful for everyone that spent time with me over the weekend and how we found each other so easily every single time 🙏 by @katylion

We survived @apocalypsefest for the 4th year in a row and thrived in the summer heat 🧟☀️🧟‍♀️ @insomniacevents moved our bassgiving to June and it was definitely a different vibe with so much more sun but the new Long Beach amphitheater at the dnb stage was a fun change. Love dancing with friends under our rainbow fish totem! 🐠 it’s been so magical having a way to gather so easily at big events like this, everyone just finds each other instantaneously✨ best sets of the weekend were @caspaofficial b2b @peekaboobeats, @caseyclubofficial, @buunshin, @knowgood, @mersiv, @easybakedj, @taikinulightuk and @goddarduk by @katylion

Lightning in a Bottle 2026. This year I felt very comfortable in my own skin, healthy and grateful to be alive. I didn’t loose my voice which is a big accomplishment for me. We celebrated Chris’s birthday with two of his best friends. We danced hard till we were exhausted and paddle boarded on the beautiful lake. I appreciated how lovely the lake and little islands were because the air was so hot 🥵 🦢 🦅 the nights were perfect though and we were blessed with amazing VIP camping in the festival. ⛺️ This was my 11th LIB since 2011 in Irvine and I’m continually impressed by what @thedolab creates for the music community. This year for my birthday I was surrounded by friends to a degree that represented how beautiful my life has become in recent times.🥹The hurdles of my twenties/early thirties have come to a close and serenity has found me as I transition to this next chapter of life. Words cannot express the gratitude and awe I feel right now creating this post to show the world how gorgeous my closest friends are, especially when we come together to dance and celebrate! It’s hard to describe the feelings that I experienced this weekend seeing all the friends & friends of friends find & gather so easily under the new totem Chris and I created together, the rainbow fish 🐟 meant to inspire your inner child to come out to play but also to encourage you to face and process some of your childhood trauma on the dance floor where emotions are felt so deeply. 👁️ My vision created over the last month, 1 sequin at a time, fully manifested into its final engineering by my amazing partner🫱🏼‍🫲🏽I couldn’t have finished it without his support & collaboration. Last night I had a moment, while guiding our giant group away from one stage to another, where I was brought to tears by how wonderful it was to be able to walk away from Chris in a massive crowd, leaving him dancing at one set while we needed to go to another having absolutely zero fear that he wouldn’t find us because under the rainbow fish it was so simple to gather and be together🥹 after a year of intense self work, therapy and growth I was able to dance through one of the best weekends of my life completely at peace that no matter what, I would be ok 💗 #selflove #recovery #serenity #friendship #rainbowfish @apocalypsefest by @katylion

Spent time in San Diego to kick off Autumn season. Paddle boarded in breathtaking La Jolla near my job’s physical location (UCSD). Explored the veteran’s memorial on Mt. Soledad and met Major George Durgin who published a book from his journals during the Vietnam war, he is currently 93 years old and touched my heart with how much he went through in the war. I’ve gotten so invested in history the last few years and recently I’ve been studying the Vietnam war which I learned almost nothing about growing up even though it changed the world forever. I have basically no clue what I’m doing making reels but this sunset photo shoot in Point Loma deserved a special feature. October has been fantastic so far.. tied for favorite month of the year with beautiful April 🍂🍁 🌅 taken in Point Loma, San Diego by @katylion

Day 1 @lovelongbeachfestival was a huge success! Set up early at Noise Stage and created a safe space for the friends to gather and meet all day into night 🌅Blessed with absolutely perfect Long Beach weather. 😌 Feeling so much gratitude for the place I live and the people I get to call my community. Day 1 #tipperandfriends at @gorgeamphitheatre opened our eyes to the power of the natural environment surrounding this region. 💨High winds shut down the music for a bit before @ottsonic twilight set 🌅 then a pink grapefruit sunset took over and we learned a camp neighbor had taken it upon herself to tear our ez-ups down out of wind trauma & give Chris C. a mouth full when he went back to check on camp 🤨 the pompous “what is this, your first festival?” line spewed out of her foul mouth.😝 We had an amazing and experienced, elder wook squad who rallied good energies together to get over this hiccup 🧚🏼‍♀️🧝🏼‍♀️🧙🏽‍♂️🧙🏻‍♂️.. beautiful and perfect weather took over and perused through the rest of the weekend ⛅️ 💫🎶The up-tempo first Tipper set of the weekend that night left us in awe 🤯 thank you @android_jones for the inspiring visuals 👁️ #thegorge #androidjones #tipper 🚀 taken in The Gorge Amphitheatre by @katylion

Grief is like a psilocybin journey because it’s constant waves of ups and down. Peaks and valleys. Agonizing fears of being alone forever, consuming beliefs that I’ll never be good enough, suffocating feelings of failure and hopelessness knowing that I’m running out of time to ensure I don’t spend my life unfulfilled and alone until I too, pass away. Sometimes all I can manage is digging myself out long enough for a few hours to work, to get through another day. To respect my body enough to exercise for a while, clean, call a family member, pet my cat, pray for gratitude, pray to wake up tomorrow happier. @treefortfest is one of the coolest festivals I’ve experienced in 30 years of going to music festivals. All over the city of Boise for 5 days, hundreds of artists across different genres, various modalities including film, tech, art, food, beer, and of course music! This year I went by myself but was never alone 🧡 I found my new redhead squad within an hour of being dropped off @anymoreanyways2 @hunterosee ❤️‍🔥 so thankful for Boise friends finding me constantly 🙌🏻 love you guys! @nicolehulahoops @y00000000000sh and even had a bestie from back home there with me @ambigiousbee & @sauerdump 🥹 Treefort is all about following your flow and manifesting new experiences in safe and curated spaces..
