A little peek of me in action. Watch until the end to see how the finished piece looks ———>
I really like working with stripes - it’s always really satisfying seeing the clean lines as I remove the tape (though I’m usually holding my breath at the same time!).

More satisfying results when peeling off the layers on this new ceramic piece! I’m really happy with how this one has turned out - the colours are 👌
Let me know what you think?

Private View evening of the Open Exhibition at the @ferensartgallery last week, in pictures!

It was fabulous. I’m so proud to have my masks included in this show, and in this beautiful gallery too. The gallery itself will be 100yrs next year. My Nanna used to pop into Ferens every week with her friends when they caught the bus into town, when she was still here with us. She would stand in front of her favourite painting and gaze at it for ages. My Nanna just adored it.

The painting is no longer there, but I know how proud she would be at me having my own work adorning these walls. I like to think of my Nanna’s ghost, visiting the gallery now and staying close to my work ❤️ She would love this.

The exhibition is now open and runs until January 2027 @ferensartgallery Hull ⭐️

Something soothing 💙 I sold this ceramic piece recently but I’m desperate to revisit this idea again as it’s so fun to work on! And I LOVE the blue.

I’ve made a tray! Albeit it a very shallow tray that looks a lot like a shield 🤣 but it IS indeed tray! A clay tray in fact. And if you come round to my house I WILL be offering you a snack on it. Because it is a tray.

Some new little trinket / olive / keys / mealteaser / whatever-you-damn-well-want trays are in the making! So much fun to make and I’ve already got more underway… Let me know what you think as all feedback is VERY WELCOME my friends 💋

Fresh out the kiln 🔥 and feeling really happy with how this baby has turned out.. Loving the layering of shapes with the warm Autumnal palette. Let me know what you think?

Here’s something I’m currently working on - thought you’d enjoy peeking behind the scenes! It’s soooooo satisfying peeling back the layers and seeing the results for the first time.. (scroll to see how it looks with all the layers removed ——>)

Can’t wait to see how this one fires. The colours won’t be as soft as this, which I have to keep in mind otherwise it’s always a bit of a surprise when it comes out the kiln.

I definitely DO want to make some softer ones though.. I’ll pop it on my To Do list! 🌼🌿🪻

One of my new Arrows in closer detail 🔸 it’s giving me fairground vibes! I really enjoy working on these - I’ll have more of these babies coming soon…
Now, where did I put the candyfloss…?

A little recap of my time on the Leytonstone Art Trail this summer! It’s been such a joy to be part of it again — my third year — and I feel incredibly lucky to be involved in such an amazing creative community @leytonstonearts ✌️

A v big thank you to all the organisers who work so hard behind the scenes to bring the Art Trail to life and make it such a special event. And thank you to Aaron @rawcanvasuk for including several of my pieces in the artist group show @back_to_ours_ — it was such an honour to be part of it!

And finally a HUGE thank you to Tim and the crew at @thisisearls for inviting me to display my work on their walls, and for giving me the opportunity to throw my own launch party. It was awesome and I’m so so so so grateful for your generosity 💋

A big shoutout too, to @prettydecentbc and @eastlondonbrew for the sponsorship, and to @cannhallcan for all your support and kindness.

Until next year, guys! X
