Attention rollerskaters! We need your help! Now is our chance to speak up for roller skaters on Kaua’i and hopefully get an area of flat cement for us all to skate. Please write to the county and give your experience and desires to them, explain exactly what you want. Together we can make this happen and manifest our dreams. Make sure to email them before, or by Friday, August 2nd!

Thank you @appelusa for spearheading this and for taking the time to help! 🛼 by @kauairollerskating

Skaters should be intermediate/advanced level. Ages: 12+

Toe stops are optional (please have plugs). Quads are recommended but inlines can be used if breaks are removed.

Description: We will be doing mostly stationary dance skating steps. Steps may include crossovers, cross behinds, bubbles (scissors), steps in a circle, edges, raising toe wheels and/or heel wheels etc. Instructions on how to do popular roller dance sequences such as "Grapevine" and Downtown" mixed with moves inspired by artistic roller skating to music. Class will culminate with a short dance routine to a song of the week! Modifications will be given throughout the class.

Gear is highly recommended, ie. wrist guards.

@appelusa offers Skills and Drills classes and private lessons! Check the IG and Linktree for schedule. Sign up in her bio by @kauairollerskating

I couldn’t be more proud of these girls, shredding our park. @rollinroxi @made2sk8 I love you both so much! So inspiring, and talented beyond words. Keep having FUN! That’s what it’s all about. Anyone else feeling that rollerskating can be an Olympic sport one day???
I do.
