Grateful to have crossed paths with these incredible Soldiers from my old platoon. Missing a few amazing Soldiers in this photo, but you know who you are. See you sooner than later! 🫡🇺🇸

I generally don't post a whole lot of personal things on IG but many of you knew my old man. I wanted to share with you that he passed away mid-December leaving behind a legacy of strength, wisdom, and resolution. His journey on Earth ended December 26th when he was laid to rest.

I extend my heartfelt gratitide to the Soldiers who bestowed military honors upon dad, recognizing his commendable service during the Vietname War.

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together".

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported me throughout my journey to becoming a Staff Sergeant.

Thank you SSG Lopez and the 870th MP Co for providing me with the opportunity to learn and grow as a "buck sergeant". I am grateful for the support and guidance that I received from everyone, and I believe that I am better because of it.

If you were to ask me, "Where do I start?" These are my Starting-5.

I read most of these books in boot-camp and they had the most profound impact on me. If you consider yourself a leader at work, home, or wherever, you must read because "your personal experiences alone aren't broad enough to sustain you."
If you pick up even one of these books you'll be better by the end of it.

Starting off the year with a new stack. Mattis hit my 🫀 with this below. 👇🏽

I've been debating whether or not to post this (for months) because the education system is seriously mindless (insert "R-word"). This "accomplishment" is just a means to an end. Nothing more, nothing less. The greatest accomishment about this thing is I finished debt-free and completed essays/projects durring two activations (fires and riots). This degree was an exercise in effort, not intelligence. Most of my *real-world* education has come from experience and reading books outside the scope of formal education (see library photo). Thanks for reading. Here to help. Summum bonum.

Kinna fit, kinna fat. Crushing ACFTs and ABCP. Got my 2-mile run back down to my BCT time just by walking. I wonder what would happen if I put in effort 😅. The big push coming after A.T.
