A life of passionate conversations, deep convictions and fascinating contradictions has come to an end.

From crossing the African continent on foot to escape apartheid-era South-West Africa, to agitating in the UN for Namibian independence.
From the Kalahari desert to the Swedish winters - and back again.
From endless political theories to running a uranium mine.
From playing rugby in school to leading the Football Association, supporting Olympians and selecting Miss Namibia.
And through it all: always walking, talking and thinking faster than everybody else.

Dad, I hope you’ll find an eternity of sparring partners and endless debates to challenge you, and keep you as agile and free-spirited as we’ll always remember you. 🤍🕊️🤍🕊️🤍🕊️ by @kauraisa

One of the greatest has been laid to rest. 💔💔💔
Graham Tainton will be loved forever by his many friends and all those he brought so much joy, kindness and grace to. His huge heart, ever-present smile and loving soul will always stay with us.
❤️❤️❤️
Rest peacefully and joyfully, dearest Uncle G.
