A husband, father, teacher, bassist and whatnot. Easily excited.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I still remember exactly where I was when I called Ossi and said, so… what if I came and played bass with you guys? I’d heard there was a spot open.

And I’ll never forget that moment outside the rehearsal room when I said that I had to leave.

Pretty fucking big moments, both of them.

We’ve always played together. And I honestly don’t believe this is the last time we’ll ever do it together. Something. Somewhere. Sometime.

But today, let’s go for one more time to end this chapter. Like never before.

Thank you, boys. ❤️ Jonne always ends our calls with ”until next time, bye.” So let’s do that now too. Until next time. Bye.

BOF mark II 🪦 For all these years, before every single show, the four of us have listened to Biffy Clyro’s “Boom, Blast & Ruin” together backstage.

Tomorrow, we’ll stand there together and listen to it one last time as the four of us before we hit the stage at On The Rocks in Helsinki. It’s hard to put into words what that moment will feel like after all these years, knowing that something so familiar and so important to us is coming to an end.

Thankfully, this isn’t goodbye to the band. Jonne, Jesse and Ossi will carry the story forward, and “Boom, Blast & Ruin” will keep blasting backstage at BOF shows in the years to come.

But tomorrow, for those few minutes before we walk on stage, it’ll be the four of us one last time.

See you tomorrow🖤 taken in La Cigale by @kaurikoponen
