While helping out with the Fasada Festival in Sarajevo, I stumbled across this cute coffee shop nearby. Kexich opened earlier this year in the spring and is located in the heart of town. Of course I decided to grab a kava to go, unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to stay for long since I was on my way to an event. However the place is niche with several spots to chill & indulge your drink order, whether it’s indoor or outdoor. I’ll have to stop by another time, da uživam u svom ćejf!☕️🪴

A post dedicated to a drink I’ve fallen in love with this year: Cortado ☕️

The Spanish beverage consists of espresso mixed with roughly an equal amount of warm milk to reduce acidity. (It’s similar to the Itallian Macchiato) The name derives from the spanish verb “cortar” which means “to cut.” Referring to the espresso’s boldness flavor being cut by milk.

Sin prisa, pero sin pausa, meaning “Without hurry, but without pause…” to avoid both rushing and procrastination, moving forward but so leisurely. 🤎

Today I was finally able to check off one of my biggest bucket list coffee experiences! The cup portraits are free however there is a wait typically for about an hour. I used that hour to walk around the area & shop until it was time for my turn!
Ana is a portrait artist at Kvarts & has been doing it for the last 3 years, however she told me she has been drawing since she was a little girl.

One of my favorite experiences thus far, definitely recommend this place if you’re ever out in Tbilisi 🇬🇪
