Emmys is always a fun evening to celebrate primetime. My first time was 2018. I missed the few around covid but last 2 years I have started re-realizing the power of these celebratory rooms building upto the big night. Meeting of outstanding directors, actors, writers, showrunner and producers sharing their long journeys, celebrating each other’s stories. This year was the night to celebrate #Pitt our very own @sbaidwan ❤️@thematthewrhys 2 wins made me very happy as he has stayed the same happy humble guy over last 10 years. @rizahmed walking with his mom and taking her picture with love filled me with southAsian pride. Was a pleasure to share that week and be the partner in crime with our very best @iamhumaq ❤️

Can Indian films crack mainstream America?

Kavita Gupta- venture capitalist, producer and International Emmys board member is putting money behind India-US film and television projects, with plans to build distribution beyond the diaspora market.

Her bet: Indian talent should compete in America as mainstream talent, not be boxed in as “foreign”.

Kavita Gupta ( @kavzg99 )is shaping a new narrative for Indian influence on the global stage.

A venture capitalist, cultural strategist and global investor, Gupta moves fluidly across technology, fashion, film and culture. As a board member of the International Emmy Awards representing South Asia and the first Indian appointed to the leadership board of FIT, New York, she is opening conversations around Indian talent, craftsmanship and creative identity at some of the world’s most influential institutions. by @kavzg99

Some movies are destined to be made by people who fight for it, make a statement with their every choice. #bestofthebest started its journey years back but had people like @hasanminhaj and @prashanthvenkat fighting and supporting @imlenakhan vision. They rewrote, took advice from everyone and made it their own. What a movie! A beautiful tale of female friendship with coming of age. A test of love, loyalty while deeply rooted in love of dance. Inter university dance competition is how these two met and 2 decades later they converted their story on the big screen! @maitreyiramakrishnan @pkwizzles you guys rocked ❤️ @ankurratheeofficial - abs Hot 🔥 and @chaneilkular you are the best Arjun there could be ❤️ Congratulations guys ❤️❤️👏👏 by @kavzg99
