Neh mine the dirty underneath of that stand! lol

I’m so very honored to be able to spend this kind of time with our brother @johnmahimusic ….. creative, productive, forever-lasting moments capturing his iconic voice for an album that will be around for generations to come 🎶

People would do all kine to be able to produce this man, and I do not take this lightly. If you know his music, then you know what I’m talking about and also, I know you’re waiting for the “Kamaile” album 😎

If you listen closely, you can hear him talking to his babies, they are always present for each session and one day they will be able to listen to this music knowing that they were there for it all and that makes me so happy ❤️

It’s looking like a variety album featuring the different styles of all three of us @oiwimusic and I can’t wait to see what you think! 🎶

Always good fun, gotta include all that in our BTS of the “Making of Kamaile” ah?? 💁🏾‍♂️

An awesome feeling as you prepare for a Ho’ike… lining everybody up and starting the staging and etiquette phase 😎

Some are taking the stage for the first time so “Repetition is the Mother of Skill” really takes authority here in these situations #iykyk

Having a space to call home for the Halau is such a huge deal especially when it comes to bringing everything you need to a space then packing up and taking with you as you leave.

My nt @kuuleimomilani has moved mountains for us to be able to settle in and have a space for all the things

& my sister @momilanimartins has taken on so much, from teaching to playing ukulele/singing with me as nt plays bass (one of the things she’s been wanting me to teach her for ears and ears now ☺️)

My family is the bomb.com and we fully swinging for the fences and I don’t see it slowing down any time soon…. Everything we do and accomplish is being seen and experienced by our young ones, if they see what we can do…. It’ll be THAT much easier for them to carry that energy forward

Typical meal with the men of @oiwimusic in Iapana! 🫣😂

At the very least, you can’t say that we’re boring…. lol between Bronson dropping bars throughout the courses, to me making trouble and John buss laughing at us, it’s a good time

Who is the one person in your group chat that is super adventurous when it comes to tasting all kine foods?

😂

This week I’ll be featuring a song that is one of the “aww this brings me back to when…” songs called “Pua Kenikeni”

Sometimes It’ll go silent in the middle cuz I trying not to bawl cry, but eh….. as how

@kogamamina thank you for your kind words, you are an inspiration to so many of us 🎶

Stick around as I reveal the different parts of this song 😎
