Allow me to reintroduce myself:
I’m Karla Trice, the founder and creative mind behind Blossom Bar Houston. What began as an idea centered around flowers has grown into something much bigger.
Over the last two years, I’ve poured myself into building a space that challenges what creativity can look and feel like for adults. We’ve grown from flowers into designing handbags, creating art, and developing experiences that continue to expand the way people engage with creativity.
Houston responded in a way I never fully anticipated. This city showed me that adults are craving a different kind of social experience. One that gives us an opportunity to step outside of our usual routines and form genuine connections.
Every sold-out workshop, private celebration, return guest, has shown me just how much room there is for this idea to grow.

We’re making room for what’s next. I want to build a destination that gives adults more ways to create, more reasons to gather, and experiences that continue to challenge what a creative space can be. What we’ve built over the past two years gave me the foundation. What comes next reflects the full vision I now have for where we can go.

I designed a no-sew leather handbag experience for Blossom Bar Houston from scratch.

Yesterday marked a special milestone. We welcomed new staff, trained them on the handbag workshop, and officially grew our team.

I also made my own handbag for the very first time and went out for the night to celebrate everything that’s ahead.

Blossom Bar Houston officially has its own location! A vibey space where creativity meets healing. 🌿✨💜

This is a place where people come to recharge, connect, and find therapeutic ways to blossom.

The seeds have been planted, and now it’s time to grow.🌷

I also want to take a moment to highlight my realtor, @thechristinrachelle. When so many others brushed me off because I wasn’t looking for an expensive property, Christian treated my vision with the same level of care and professionalism as her high-end clients.

She found the perfect space for me in just two days and guided me through the entire process. Beyond being incredibly professional, she was down to earth and genuinely cared about helping me bring this dream to life. I’ll recommend her to anyone, any day. 💜 taken in Houston, Texas by @kay_auset
